Did you pay the visa fee yet? You will need to pay the visa fee in order to get a physical GC.

2 years is a conditional visa CR1.

Ex: my husband and I haven’t been married more than 2 years, so his visa will be a CR1. After two years you go to another interview together in the states, prove your marriage is still good and the conditions are removed.

says  his visa is CR1

green card should arrive soon /ours was a month later

SS card comes only if you applied thru immigration by marking the box on your d 260  form for them to do the work

otherwise take your passport with visa stamp and apply at SS office/if the officer at ss knows their job, the passport visa stamp and your ID is all they need to see

Not what @WeGuyGal was referring to. The MRIV usually has the following text on it: "UPON ENDORSEMENT SERVES AS TEMPORARY I-551 EVIDENCING PERMANENT RESIDENCE FOR 1 YEARnot 2 years: https://www.uscis.gov/i-9-central/temporary-i-551-stamps-and-mrivs
