If any one of us becomes king, then that's the moment our personal beliefs actually become important to someone other than ourselves. We may not like the decisions made at the state level and there are many more examples of that than this topic. It is the right of the state of NY to do this. We don't have to like it.

I agree with your assessment,  people that usally agree with my viewpoints are usually the first to point out the " powers not expressly granted" clause.  I try to remain consistent in my views , regardless if I personally agree or not.

That is why rare middle of the road guys like me make great supremacy court judges.

I also noticed that there are so many children waiting to be adopted. Funny that.

I have no problem with abortion at any time during the pregnancy; having read more than a few studies, there is very few abortions after the 25th week of pregnancy, unless the child is non viable, or the pregnancy is a risk to the mother's health.  Zero problem with any of it.

Easy to say when you are born and living

What about the ones in womb who has no voice

Just when you think you have TDS eradicate,  a new case shows up.

Who am I to impose a child, when it will most probably be stillborn or kill its mother?   Zero problem with the NY law, very similar to what exists in Canada.

Abortion rate in developed countries are nearly been cut in half in the last 30 years; I believe contraception and educaiton are working.  And yup, foetuses have no voice - they are part of the mother, she does.

I agree, i am pro choice also but with reasonable controls (specifically regarding timeframe) and actual danger to the mothers well being. If the child is profoundly handicapped, i understand the fear of raising that child but this can be determined early on in the pregnancy.

Most of us are reluctantly pro choice with limits. I struggle to agree its ok to abort a viable fetus with no serous valid reason other than I dont want a child.  At that point you should deliver and adopt out

So do I, but I also struggle with the concept of applying my morality and will unilaterally on other people. If we leave these things up to a states right, we sometimes have to accept that different states will eventually do things that we don't like or agree with. I suggest everyone do what I do and don't live in NY. It works for me.

There are actually more people who want to adopt than abortions.

I am also pro choice. Your choices are use contraception, abstain or be ready for the possibility of having a child. I am for abortion for medical purposes but not for its use as a contraceptive.

From what I have been able to gather, long story, most have certain requirements and the supply does not match. I was many years ago intrigued by why so many adopted from overseas so asked a few questions.
