Wife's information on naturalization application

Hi all.

Long time member since k1 application many years ago and lots of help obtained from these forums!

I've established the USA as my home, have worked for many years and shown my commitment to this country with involvement in civic and community endeavours.

Now decided to apply for naturalization, but my wife says she won't fill in anything about her past marriages etc.

Any way around this?

You have to provide requested information. No way around it? She provided info when petitioning you for K-1 why refuse now?

find your original paperwork

she should have kept everything

if not,   they are a matter of public records

google her past names

or pay the small fee for all records for

You fill in the form, not your wife. So you need to answer the questions about her previous spouses to the best of your ability.

This is one thread about someone who was unable to completely answer those questions, maybe a few of the comments will be helpful if you haven't already looked for information:

I guess you can submit a FOIA request to USCIS, for the K-1/AOS paperwork? Not sure exactly what is included but probably possible.

This! You have to pay for it and it will take a while but you can get your entire A-file from USCIS this way.

Eh? Sorry might be my sleep deprived brain but I didn’t understand.

If memory serves you have to list her date of birth so if she is worried someone will figure out her age they will from this plus USCIS already have all of the previously filed forms so they know about her previous marriages unless there is a previous marriage she has been hiding from you all this time there is nothing to worry about.

As others have mentioned look around for your k1 and adjustment of status documents where all that is listed or file a foia for a copy of the case file.
