HI

I filed AOS on Jan 12th and sent them by USPS. It says arrived on Jan 14th but no NOA yet...

Is this normal processing time?

thanks

Did you get text or email notifications or check cashed?

Looks like you're not the only one, so I think the USCIS is just a little slow right now. 10 days without text notice is a little unusual but I'm pretty confident it's gonna move on soon.

Mine took 13 days to get the text notification from the date that UPS delivered it so I think they're just slow at the moment processing them. You should get it soon but I don't think you need to worry yet. I got the letter in the mail 2 working days after the text notification.

I mailed my application on Jan 4, it was delivered on Jan 6 (usps web site) and I received 3 text messages from USCIS on Jan 12 at 12:30 am. Letters with NOA1s arrived on on Jan 18. Just give more time to USCIS :)

be 2 weeks of waiting!! My payment is still not encash and I’m worried cause the money order from western union I forgot to put (for I-485 + biometric) only in cover letter and the total amount is correct 1,225.. should I have to worry that my payment will reject? Please enlighten me! TIA

Filed AOS and sent via USPS arrived on Jan/13/2019.  My credit card has not been charged,  have not received text message update or letter in the mail.

I called USCIS and was informed that we filed incorrectly.  Received Jan/13/2019, rejected Jan/16/2019. No text message or anything in the mail. Was informed it can take 30 days to get rejection notice.

Yes, if the payment is not correct - they will reject it for improper payment amount.  Dont worry they wont cash that check - they will send it back to you and you can refile again directly.  Not a big deal.
