Hi guys,

Does anyone know if we have to make the visa payment (165$) before going to the interview at the embassy? and if yes, where do is the payment made? I'm getting very confronting information so I thought I would ask the experts here 🙂

Immigrant visa and AOS fees should pay first, then submit civil documents. After the interview, if you are approved, when you collect your passport at the consulate the US embassy will give your passport, sealed visa packet, and a paper with the instructions on how to pay your Green Card fee which is 220 USD. Hope this helps! My case is non pivot.

Ugh my husband had interview in rio on dec. 7th.

he was issued a blue 221-g form

wirh possibility medical re-do on it and additional information from us in the form of messages and pictures and dates of travel from me to Brazil.

so far it’s updated on the site to dec 19th but nothing yet just administrative processing 😩

they kept his passport so we are hoping we hear news soon!

anyone who have gone through this how long after date update did you hear anything

desperately waiting to be reunited with husband after 3 years

Our case was updated twice before case status changed to “Issued.” Hang in there!

Yes they did

He got a light blue 221 form and that same day I submitted more proof of relationships in the form on texts from 2018 and also our last 3 visits too.

and he had to get one more shot for his medical

And they also said they wanted to investigate his time spent in Ireland

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all get your interview date soon! 🎄🥂🍾

My hubby had another round of interview with the border control officer when he arrived in Houston. He was asked the following questions.

1. Is your wife rich?

2. Hawaii is expensive to live. How do you plan to make a living?

3. What does your wife do for a living?

Then the officer stamped hubby’s passport CR1.

After some ups and downs, hubby is finally here. Everything will be worth it, hang in there.

Blessings and amen! Prayers and patience do work.. which one you need the most varies day to day lol!

i am so very happy for you my dear!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

soon I’ll be with my love too hope so soon :)

Just reached out to the NVC. I was told that they are done with January and are now on February. With all the different responses that we all get, does anyone else have any information on appointment scheduling?
