Applying for B2 VISA While IV visa is awaiting for Priority Date

Hello,

 

 

Background: I am planning to apply for B2 VISA  but I already have an approved VISA Petition(my parents applied)(i-130) waiting for priority date. 

 

1) Can I Apply for B2 VISA While IV visa is awaiting for Priority Date? 

2) what are the chances of getting b2 visa?

2) Can my parents sponsor for me and my family b2 visa?

3) My spouse, daughter and I are planning to apply for B2visa. Do I have to submit separate DS-160 for each applicant

There is NO sponsorship for a B2 visa.

1) Yes.

2) Showing non-immigrant intent with an approved I-130 may be difficult, though. Only way to know is to apply. A refusal won't impact your immigrant visa case so long as you are honest.

3) There's no sponsorship for a tourist visa.

4) Yes. Each applicant needs their own application. Each individual will be issued or refused the visa on their own merits and from nobody else.

So you basically plan to bring your whole family over and stay while you wait for the priority date, to save you the waiting time.

No, not gonna happen.

Unless the PD is current (in which case they’re lined up for interview already anyway and don’t need to wait) they can’t do that anyway. F3 is not immediate relative category, you can’t AOS from an overstay.
