Were you successful in attaining a pre copy of the RFE?

Nope  I called twice spoke to tier 2 and both said to wait till the end of the week.

Just got our rfe. Apperantly we left a question blank which I thought was checked off.  So do we just check no and send it back? Should we overnight mail it ? After they receive the letter how long will it take till we hear back ?

yes check no and send it back. One or two weeks, sometimes 30 days, mine was 17 days

We had exactly the same RFE on the 2nd of April. We've sent our response on the 11th of April and still haven't heard anything from uscis.

Did you have a copy of your application.  I was too excited when sending it in and foolishly didn’t make a copy. But could’ve SWORN that was checked. I even remember checking it no laughing about it and going over it 20 times before sending.

Exactly the same situation for us. We also didn't make a copy. And yes, we were sure that this box was checked, so this rfe came as a surprise...

After getting a RFE Last month We finally got our NOA2 in the mail today!! Approval date was May 10th!! Yahooo so excited!.. Going to look into the next steps for me (beneficiary) here in Canada!....  Any tips/ help appreciated on the next steps!

As I've been telling others find the May 2019 NOA2 to NVC thread and download the pdf file from the first page first post for tips, tricks and hacks.

It sometimes can be a trick question. Read it carefully and apply your answer and then reread the RFE because it will tell you how to send it back.

I meant no NOA2 so far. When USCIS received our response, they updated status online, but it's been 1 month since then and no approval yet.

It will take 1-3 weeks just to be received into the system. Then another 2-4 weeks. So 30 to 45 days average before you see something that indicates any finality to your case. Patience.
