I believe USCIS started to use previous biometrics if deemed not required (such as I 751 or I131 when bio is not highly important in determinant factors) to reduce backlog and refresh the officers to reviewing or interviewing applicants. 

I know. I'm just trying my luck. I know we should wait but last time I had to call them 3 times, send 2 e-requests regarding my NOA.

Nope, this is solely for new green cards.  We already have green cards.  It's also a bit sensational, as this proposal will never pass as is.

It’s been now literally 200 days since my last update and I wish I knew what was going on with my status ,

did someone send e request to inquire about their finger print notice not received i have not heard anything about it i sent e request and received strange reply and the email do not have any information regarding biometrics finger printing even my e request processing been closed i sent request 10 days ago

why there is so much delay and in processing especially its been more than 7 months and i have not heard anything about biometrics even after sending e request no news what so ever and the email i received 10 days later it does not contain any info regarding biometrics

I did. I don't remember the exact words cause I already deleted the email. They basically just told me to wait. It's been almost 7 months since I filed my case and 5 months since I received my NOA. 

 

What strange reply did you receive?

Why did you send a request about biometrics? What's the rush?

 

USCIS doesn't need your biometrics until they're actually ready to pick up your case to go through it. Until then, the biometrics would just be sitting there in the system anyway, of no use. 

 

Many people only get their biometrics appointments a year or more after filing.

Me geting to the office is a pain in the butt. I dont want to have to go get the stamp and then go back for biometrics so ideally i would want it around a year i guess so i could do both

Vermont Service center: filed late October, checks cashed in November, got my NOA in December and also completed my biometrics in December. No updates since then. my status is stuck at fingerprint fee is received.

I'm with you! Same service center and status, had Biometrics back in December, still waiting.... only what, 1 year to go?

I haven't been on here for awhile. I received a letter on 5/31/2019 that they are gonna re-use my fingerprints . Now I continue waiting....
