Just a question with the required documents, are they asking for copy or originals, doesn’t mention much there https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/family-immigration/nonimmigrant-visa-for-a-fiance-k-1.html#1

also, I know you mentioned this last time, I’ll just confirm again, it’s ok for my fiancée to send his docs on email isn’t It? Or?

Beneficiary's documents are original with a copy for the CO to keep and if your nice they will return the original. Petitioner's documents can be copies for the interview. Everything can be emailed and printed on the Beneficiary's end. You should email the Embassy and see it a "wet" (original) signature is required for the I-134. If it can be a scanned copy then that too can be emailed and printed for the interview. I hope this helps.

I came across some luck ($$$) and it led me to surprising my Irish Fiance with a trip to America. Her trip is scheduled January 22nd-Feb 7. If we received our NVC case # today, do you think it would time out so that she could be able to come to USA on her K1 Visa?! Will this surprise "Christmas" present turn into the rest of out lives??? I've looked at many timelines, and it seems possible...fingers crossed, maybe luck will continue to be on my side ❤️ So happy to have found VJ, my support group.

If your petition is sitting at nvc right now, it just missed the shipment and will sit at nvc for another couple weeks before it goes.   If it made yesterday's shipment then it all depends on how fast the consulate can get you interviewed and visa issued

YMMV

Yeah, we're not counting our chickens quite yet. This trip was strictly for pleasure and to see each other again. We received our NOA2 November 1st, so we hit a major delay in getting to the the NVC. I guess things can't work out perfectly everytime...If this process has taught me anything, it's patience rules all.

Is there a way to track those shipments? I've been seeing people mention the ability to look track these things...

Set up an account on ceac and you can see if it's at nvc, in transit or ready

YMMV

Is the information requested on this for my foreign fiance or for me?

I always get so confused when they give you standard American address forms when asking to fill out foreign addresses....

On ceac.state.gov it just asks for your embassy case number

Hey, I've only called once (and got the expected "we got your case on [date]; it can take up to 8 weeks to forward" response). Well, twice, but the first time I didn't have time to wait on hold and hung up right away...

So far, anyway.

I told Anastasia I'd call once a week starting last Friday if we didn't hear anything.
