Those of you VSC filers on July 1, 2 and 3 who have not yet received 10 year Green Card are now "Outside Normal Processing Time."

For those who have filed this 'Inquiry' before, what is the typical response?

Hey all. Just as an aside. I received my card today after a very quick turn around time of 8 days. Approved 11/27 and received today on 12/04. Funny enough, I received a USCIS text message about a change in my case; I logged in to see that there was a "card delivered" notification with the tracking number. This was the first time seeing the USPS tracking number, so I had to chuckle that it was on the day it would be sitting in my mail box. All in all, it feels amazing to physically have the card in my hand with an expiration 10 years from now. Best of luck to everyone else, and as always, my info below:

It is a part of the content of inquiry form . What should I provide to them ? 

1/ received 18 months extension letter 

2/ or the status when I check my case??

(uscis.gov or Dhs?)  

 

I need your help. Anyone made inquiry and how was the respond? Does it take long time to get a respond? Thank you in advance.

If this were me, I would use the last mail you received. The auto-emails and you checking the case online (to me) are not actions.

Wife received the good news via email notification around noon today, December 5, 2018.

Then going to her USCIS account page was the full story.

 

On December 04, 2018, we approved your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number EAC17297003XX.  

On December 04, 2018, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number EAC17297003XX, and will mail it to the address you gave us.

 

Interesting side story for those who believe in 'psychic' stuff !!  :-))

 

1. You may note above that just yesterday I posted inquiring what was result for those who contacted USCIS when their case went beyond 'Normal Processing Time.'  I had never felt need to start thinking about that procedure, which for my wife would have been possible on December 24th.

 

2. Just today, for first time ever, wife's brother asked about status of her 10 year Green Card process.  This was just before she checked her email to see the notice from USCIS, so she told him 'nothing yet.'

Now, as I seem to recall from those who have posted before . . . 10 year Green Card usually comes 7-10 days after 'new card being produced' notification received. 

 

Is that correct ?

And now, I can finalize wife's Citizenship Application N-400.

I have had it mostly  ready to go for about a month.

Congratulations!! Do you see a tracking number for the green card. ? Mine says the card was mailed but no tracking number. Thanks

My case went from “we ordered your new card” on 11/26 to “your case has been approved” on the same day. The status hasn’t changed since. 

However, my lawyer received my NOA - Approval Notice in the mail yesterday. I’m assuming mine will show up tomorrow. So I would say 7-10 days is fairly accurate.

I never got a tracking number.. it just showed up. I have USPS alerts but I saw nothing in them either.
