has anyone gotten a new update ever since that "Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction" ? because i don't have anything new going on

Not a single peep on my case since the "Case was transferred to your local office" alert back in February. Jeez, honestly would have expected at least something in the almost year since my file was last touched. Heck, from what I understand, that alert was erroneous anyways. I am not stressing extremely hard over anything at the moment, but my hope is quickly fading that I will be receiving my card as a Christmas present this year haha. Frustrating though when I see others from WAC and on the same fiscal day as me getting approved. My details are below:

Service Center: CSC
First 5 Digits from WAC/EAC Receipt #: WAC17290
NOA1 Date: July 18, 2017
Filed N-400?: No
Case Transferred?: No

If yes, provide to what service center? On what date?:

Approved?: No

If yes, what was the date of your approval?:

If yes, did you have a RFE (Request for Evidence)? On what date?:

If yes, did you have an interview? On what date?:

Any other information: Received the "Case was received at your local office on February 26th, 2018" error message others have received. That is the last movement on my case.

Seriously?  Is it time you made an inquiry?  I think your outside of the time window.  Most July filers should be able to submit inquiries by now. No?

I kid you not!

Looking at the current processing times for CSC for an I-751, it looks like the time frame is 15.5-21.5 months. My napkin math tells me that this puts my time frame for processing anywhere from roughly November 3, 2018 through May 3, 2019. I could send an inquiry, sure, but I know I will just receive back the usual form letter of, "Your case is within the normal processing times [...]". I would be tempted to get my Senator's office involved again as I did for my K1, but once again, I know USCIS will fall back on that ridiculous "normal processing time" excuse, even for him. I really should save the inquiries for the latter end of that time frame just in case.

Just thinking about it, wow, could a nearly two year wait almost be in the cards for some of us? I don't mean to sound pessimistic or anything, but with every month passing by we inch closer to the dubious milestone. Heck, I am at day 495 right now, a mere shade off 500 days. Part of me wants to create some sort of VJ waiting badge milestone images and distribute them out lol.

The only thing I worry about is receiving an RFE due to the extended wait period. I have noticed some of us here have already received that; not due to any fault of our own, it is just due to the fact that more than a year has elapsed since we sent in our evidence. That gets me steamed thinking that we get our files held up after someone finally gets to it due only to USCIS' slowness.

As some of us have already posted, we are merely along for this ride USCIS is taking us on and there really isn't a whole lot we can do but just wait.

Gosh Trenz, don't be idle.  Time you get on that horn!  Might also be a good idea to drop your senator a hello.

Good luck!  :)

He already stated that he knows he would just get standard response of 'in normal processing time.'

So why you think it is a great idea to waste his own time, and that of USCIS, and Senators?

It is the upper end that controls when it is 'within normal processing time.'

That has also increased, regardless. It should be looked at more as a date range, and I read somewhere that the first number is the time by when roughly 50% of applications should have a decision. The second number is by when 97-99% of applications should have a decision. So yes, the second number controls the processing window and when to submit an inquiry, but that is also the longest wait time. A lot of people do get their decision around the first number.
