Thank you prok.

I tried to call but it seems impossible now to speak to a representative.

I dial the number, then 1  - 1 - 1 - but I don’t get the choice anymore to speak to a representative.

When we were at our local uscis center to get the stamp in my passport in December last year we asked about it (traveling and biometrics) and they said it wouldn’t be a problem. I would still like to know if they have sent me a bio appointment letter as it seems everyone at the SRC service center is getting those even though they did get the message about the biometrics being reused.

Calling USCIS has been made so easy now, you don’t need to call anymore, all you need to do is to go on www.uscis.gov, click on chat and on there type infopass, follow the instructions displayed, an agent will join you live. He or She will ask for your receipt number and some security informations to be sure you are the rightful applicant, then will ask what you wanted, explain your issues, he will assign you an item number and give you a number that will call you in the next 24 to 72hrs. I did that on October 28th to request an inforpass to re-stamp my passport for the second time, but when the officer called me back, he said I can only do that 30 days before the initial stamp expire. With this system, you don’t have to wait forever on phone and it’s very fast and realistic. I won’t advise you to keep calm, do try to talk to them to know what has happened. Cheers

SRC, with REF and bio-redone on 29 last month.

Oh good, congratulations one more time. Glad Texas is coming alive now, I did my re-bio 10days ago, but I didn’t get RFE. Did you get the RFE before the bio letter, or you had your bio first before RFE? I think the request for new bio is to Finalize and adjudicate the cases. Almost everyone I knew with ‘SRC’ are getting bio re-do letter even though most had already been told their previous biometrics will be reuse. Notably, biometrics expired within 15months duration, this explain why they want a re-do.

Hi Guys,

I have been following this forum for the pat few months, really appreciate everyone’s thread and share all the information. I filed the application in Oct 2018, USCIS received my case on Oct 8th 2018 and without any notice in between, today I checked my status and it shows “ Card being mailed to me”. Before today I cannot track anything on Case Tracker App, and my uscis stills shows “ we received your case”. I am a Vermont filer, hope this helps!!

thanks again everyone!

Folks thought I’d provide my experience so far as well.
submitted the I751 application in the last week of October 2018 with the Texas Service Center and since then it’s been mostly waiting. The Receipt Notification didn’t make it to me multiple times because of address issues between the two USCIS logins we have- so ended up with multiple notifications finally due to erequests raised. I didn’t get any biometric appointments nor any indication that previous biometric data was going to be reused but ultimately I was scheduled an appointment when I called in and informed them that I had not yet been assigned any biometric appointment. The biometric was finally done in September this year.

Again after the biometric for abt two months there were no updates on the status indicating that the biometric process had been completed so I called in a couple of days ago - after that call I’ve seen the status update to card produced and picked up by USPS. It’s scheduled to arrive at my residence on Tuesday next week !!! Looks like this ROC process is finally done !!! Fingers crossed :)

Hey! Has anyone in this group had an interview before getting approved so far??? Just curious because I don't recall having seen anyone in this forum mention an interview yet.

We're still waiting on our I-751, submitted 10/29/18 and currently in the Vermont office.

Are you checking the status in https://myaccount.uscis.gov/? My status there shows "Fingerprint Review Was Completed". And when I check on https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do it shows "Fingerprint Fee Was Received".

I applied in California and even though I moved to the Midwest in January and then applied for Citizenship in October no movement was made about my I-751. I am still hoping that after I do the Biometrics for the n-400 they will transfer my I-751.

I'm California filer. I filed Oct 2019 and I haven't heard anything since May 2019. May I got email and letter stating they will reuse my previous biometrics and then shortly after my case has been transferred to another USCIS facility (Vermont). And my USCIS still says the same "They have now jurisdiction to your case, you don't need to do anything"

My n-400 opened last week so I might just go ahead and apply for it. They'll just probably approve both cases at the same time... or maybe I give them a call soon. I'm not too worried though they are just crazy backlogged and it takes time. Bit frustrating I do agree with that.

I'm in the same boat. Got a letter in March 2019 that they will be using my old biometrics and then one more letter in June that my case is being transferred to the Potomac Service Center. Nothing after that. It is what it is :)

Hello everyone

I have an update and I am not sure if this is true for everyone but I saw one other person who did the same and the next thing you know is that there was some movement in their case status.

So I inquired about my husband's case status as it was a year since we did biometrics and we were waiting on approval. We are traveling again and although we have the extension letter I just didnt want to receive anything while we were out so I asked the representative online if we should expect anything soon so she said no. So I asked her about being able to apply for citizenship since we are 90 days or less than away from our 3 years in usa for my husband. We have been married for 3 years but will be for 4 in jan and will have my husband in usa for 3 in jan. She said we are not eligible yet because of the residency. Anyways I just took her decision and just figured we will wait.

Next thing I know is that an hour or so later I get the update on my tracker app that our card is being produced. Now I feel that they maybe backlogged or something because if you had your bios early in time I would highly recommend to speak to someone and see the case status. It is possible that the case is just sitting there until you inquire and it probably popped up in the system.

Last year I had to call to get the extension letter twice so I think it might be sitting there especially if your fingerprint review was updated again in august.

Ours was at vermont center.

Anyways I thought to share our news as well. I will update the calendar here in a day or 2.

Wish everyone the best here. Dont lose hope. If you trust your gut feeling and feel the need to call or speak to someone do it. I did and everytime I heard positive result.
