Please don't compare what is happening to your process to others as every case is different. You'll get a copy soon. If not, pick up the phone and call USCIS for a copy. Ask them to fax it if you want it sooner then mail.

Okay I’ll try not to. I just get worried that It might get lost. I’ll wait patiently before I call them after 30 days. Thank you

You are not eligible for USPS tracking as they have not introduced it for you zip code. There is no other way.

Try to relax - they have cashed your check, it's not a huge deal. They are definitely processing your case.

Give it another week and then call the hotline to try and get your case number :)

I am a little late adding to this thread, but we sent our packet in Oct. 16 and we received our NOA1 on October 24th.  Now it is just a waiting game.  Here's to hoping that its closer to the 5 month mark instead of the 7 month one!  I can't wait until I see people start to post about receiving their NOA2's!

No reason to apologise, no reason to be worried. If you mailed it with USPS tracking and that says it arrived, and then the check was cashed, it looks pretty good.

Do let us know if you don’t receive your NOA soon, we’ll see what we can do to help :)

Since I had a series of unfortunate events (confined in the hospital for 3 weeks) I was not able to update that our NOA1 arrived sooner than we expected. We mailed it Oct 17 and they received it last Oct 19. We received the e-notification of receipt last Oct 21 and then the written notice arrived Oct 25. I am hoping that we get the same luck with NOA2 anyway I am just going to relax and enjoy this entire process. Good luck everyone!

I’m glad you’re recovered/recovering. I hope it’s nothing too serious.

Good luck for your journey

We submitted the Form I-129F on Oct 9, the check was cashed on Oct 17, but didn't get any electronic notification as well as a physical one in the mail. Anyone else has the same issue?

Everyone will "have the same issue". And yes "this is normal". We notifications taking anywhere from 30 to 60 days. This entire process is about patience. :pop:

The PSA in the Philippines is notorious for misspellings and missing information on birth certificates. You should look over your BC to make sure everything is correct as well as your passport. Now is the time to get that corrected. You might want to get a copy of your NBI to see if there are any problems with it. Again, now is a better time to get it corrected if you find something wrong. Be sure to use all your AKA's when they do the search. Make sure your passport doesn't expire any time before a year from now as this is a long process and you could be running around getting a new one at the last minute. So get it renewed if it is expiring in 2019.

Also, there is a sub-forum for the Philippines here on VJ that you should be a part of. It's a good place to read what others are experiencing which will only prepare you for your interview.

Hi. Still no NOA 1 it’s been over a month now. My fiance tried calling but they hang up every 20 mins wait. Is there a more positive or alternate way to actually reach to them?
