I have the same question. They received our RFE  on July 24th and the status is still RFE Received.

I might do that thanks! I’m not sure if they’ll be able to give me any more info other than whats already on their website. How long since you mailed your rfe in?

It’s been 11 days for me but yours is way too much time. You should give them a call for sure

I just got off the phone with them and they told me that our case is still within normal processing time. She said this case takes between 8-14 month to process at the Detroit office.

Because I have that letter already included in my AOS packet, I didn't get any of those questions. But Detroit office appears to be pretty relaxed and officers are very nice. Whether I broke any laws and the usual I-485 YES/NO questions. And she asked about my baby and my wife and i discussed about her. Other than that it was pretty cool and relaxed. I was so nervous before getting called for the interview but once my wife and I entered the IO's office, we are pretty relaxed and everything was set. 

 

I wish you good luck with your interview. 11:20AM seems to be a good time slot, because right after they are done with our interview, its their lunch time. So they would be in a hurry to finish it up soon. I am hoping your interview would be as easy as mine if not easier and more relaxed. What day you have the interview BTW ???

Thank you. I will have my interview this Wednesday November 7 . I heard a lot of feedback too Detroit Field office interview so smoothly they just verify some things in the AOS packet and then that's it ☺️

Our Online Case Status changed 6 days ago on October 29th....to "Interview Was Scheduled". How long does it typically take to receive the Interview Appointment Letter in the Mail? Glad to hear the Detroit Office is a pretty smooth process.

After calling them last Friday, today I’m receiving a letter from USCIS but I’m not sure exactly what its about its been less than 4 days since my service request and i doubt they’ll send me a letter the same day i called about it. The reason i know a letter is coming is because i use USPS’ informed delivery feature. I’m kinda nervous about what it could be.

Nope no status update i even called and the lady told me that maybe it hasn’t updated yet. Thank you so much!!! I’m really worried because i can see through the envelope theres a signature and I’m not sure if interview letters come signed.
