Hello. My daughter’s due date for her citizenship application is coming up soon and I want to make sure that I do this right. She is 20 years old and has been a permanent resident since 06/25/2019. She has been living with me the entire time but she went on vacation to my cousin’s in SC a month ago, she stayed there for 2 months and decided to apply for a job there once but she did not get the job and came home. To my understanding in order to apply for a Citizenship she has to reside on the state for 3 months or something like that. She did not live there since she has all of her belongings here at home and was just there visiting but now I’m not sure if she is allowed to apply since she did use their address to apply for a job there. Can anyone please tell me if I should wait to submit her application or she is good to go as soon as her 90 day window opens up. thank you.

I had my Oath Ceremony today in Cleveland. No guest allowed. It was pretty fast, the whole thing took like 5 minutes. Im so happy and Glad that my Journey is finally over. 🥳🙏

I filed on June 16 got my interview scheduled on July 29 for September 15 and I passed and got placed in line for my oath ceremony the same day but I’m still waiting for it to be scheduled and I don’t know if it’s going to be in Cleveland or in a city closer to me though

Hello 👋 had my interview today at 9:45 in Cleveland and I passed. 5 mins later my case was updated to I’ve been placed in line for my oath ceremony 😁 I’m so glad my journey is almost over. I applied June 16. Interview schedule July 29. Interview Sept 15 2022. They didn’t ask to see any of my papers just my green card, Id and passport. 6 civic questions asked. One sentence to read and one ro write. Officer was nice.

I live chatted today with an agent and I asked if there was any new update on my case and she said Yes, the biometrics have been completed and the interview is requested. The case is still processing and is estimated to take 13months to complete. she also said USCIS will mail you a notice informing you of where and when your scheduled interview appointment is. Please make sure you bring your notice with you and to arrive on time to your appointment. Also, follow the instructions on the notice carefully, particularly if you are required to bring any documentation.generic response I guess. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Not everyone’s biometrics are being reused. I think I saw on a post that they started doing that when the Covid thing started but I’m not sure about being a thing depending on the field offices.
