I did lol just because they couldn’t give me any info on my petition so i asked to speak to someone who could.

I was told by the Tier 1 agent that I got approved. I think the only thing Tier 1 can't do is tell you reasons for things (i.e. if you got an RFE and want to know why etc..)

Tier 1 usually not much help as they see what we see at least that's what i was told. I had an info pass appointment and officer told me to wait 60 more days to hear something. He told me everything looks fine and he does not see anything wrong with my case. I am not sure what it means because some people wait for 160 days and get an RFE.

They won't be much help if there is no action taken on your case. They can tell you if you're still pending, on RFE, or approved but they can't elaborate beyond that.

But you filed in October? You still have a few more weeks to go. I don't think they've approved any October filers yet.

 

I would give it two more weeks and keep checking Igor's list of approvals to see if you see any October filers on it. It's coming!

I called twice on Monday, once at like noon and the tier 1 agent told me there were no updates and no action taken. I called again around 4 and they transferred me to tier two and he was able to tell me my approval letter had gone out that day so i guess it depends

or maybe it was too early the first two times and they were in the process of. Who knows lol

Certainly. I just wanted to know what was going on and if they had any information. The officer was very nice and helpful. I do not think anyone from OCT got NO2 yet.
