hello ve family, I am some worried, last July 16

I had my interview, which consular officer approved my visa, reviewed my status on Friday and said "application received" ... today I check my status and says "Refused".

what am I supposed to do? What does it mean?

I appreciate your support and advice

What does the paper they handed u say on it? Approved or denied? If it says approved it could just be a error. May also want to contact them and find out for sure since u stat it was approved but website says refused.

Good luck.

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

see if ur visa arrives in the next 10 days. Also, have petitioner keep a look out for mail. Track it visa delivery as stated on paper work also.

Think it may be just a clerical error. But not sure.

it's very unusual. did they tell you in English or Spanish that you where approved. You might have misunderstood something. All the excitement of the interview or it's just a glitch in the system.

I hope... I’m in shock, took us 9 months to be approved by Uscis, 1 month NVC and 2 months for the interview

my suggestion is not to get disappointed already. wait for the passport and see if they may require further documentation for you to be issued a visa.

Things can come up during administrative processing (AP) which can change a decision. You can't always count on what the consulate officer says. I was told I would get my passport in 3 days. Instead it took 3 weeks.

You can try to go through a congressional inquiry to see if they are willing to release their decision to them.

I know about the time... for us took exactly one year all the process. But what make me worried is the status
