My interview is Wednesday! I am so nervous!

Immigration Timeline

 

June 2013: Met whilst working at a summer camp in Michigan 

K1

November 1st 2014: I-129f submitted for K1 visa

February 24th 2015: Visa in hand!

February 26th 2015: POE at Las Vegas airport, then onwards to Oregon! 

March 6th 2015: Marriage (with a "real" wedding to follow next year on 7/6/2016)

March 9th 2015: AOS, EAD & AP submitted

September 22nd 2015: Interview

January 14th 2016: Two year Green card received -phew!

ROC

August 8th 2017: 90 day window begins! ROC time!

September 28th 2017: Biometric Appointment in Portland, OR

March 5th 2018: Case received by local office

August 18th 2018: 18 month extension letter mailed

December 2018: Case moved to another office

February 2019: I was emailed that I was approved and my card was in production the same day of my N400 interview 😂

N400

August 8th 2018: Window opens to submit naturalization application

August 13th 2018: N400 Application submitted online 

August 14th 2018: NOA1

September 6th 2018: Biometrics

February 6th 2019: Interview Date! APPROVED!

February 6th 2019: I was asked to return later the same day for my Oath Ceremony! :dance:

Nice it looks like we have a few San Jose filers that are finally getting their interviews, I filed on August 18th 2018 and been patiently waiting ever since with no news after biometrics,oh and by the way of course my local office is San Jose,Ca.

Does anyone know how to update the travel information? since I filed my case online I cant seem to find where I can add the names and dates of the countries I just visited.  

 

Do I send USCIS a message?

I think you just do it in the interview, for travel after the N400 filing date.

Hello,

I was just wondering how accurate is the USCIS Processing time page. I have I-751 pending, I filed on 7/31/17 - they reviewing 7/22/17 as of today. So basically in 9 days they will review my case? or its not necessary?

I have N400 interview scheduled for end of February....  Hopefully they will make a decision on I751 case prior to the interview..... 

 

Anyone with similar situations?

exceptions can happen, but basically 10-12 months post-filing for an interview in NYC based on the current situation.

I've yet to see an accurate processing time from USCIS regardless of case type.

I've heard that some USCIS field offices will conduct combined same day I-751/N-400 interviews in case I-751 is still pending. Some offices tho (Like LA) will put your N-400 case on hold and wait for I-751 outcome. It is best to ask applicants from your particular field office.

Hi,

i’ve been going through this forum while waiting for my interview.

below is my timeline Incase it helps folks figure their timeline.

 

I Filed for N400(with a pending I-751) on Aug16th 2018 in New Jersey. Received biometrics appointment letter on Aug 17th for Sep 4th 2018.

Rescheduled my biometrics appointment  to Sep 22nd 2018 as I was traveling.

Today my case is updated to interview scheduled, I will post the date once I have it :)

 

 My I-751 was filed in Texas end of September 2017 post which I moved to New Jersey and it is still pending,my case was moved to NBC on 20th of December.
