  1. Whoops we were actually DQ'd April 29th I just checked.
  2. We were DQ'd in May and my mum's interview is September 9th! We got the email yesterday.
  3. Thank you for the reply, her interview just got scheduled for September 9th!
  4. Do you mean approved at the Embassy and she is cleared to fly here?
  5. We are currently petitioning for my mum (UK citizen) to move to the US. She was DQ'd about a month ago. We desperately need here here by mid-August as she plans to be our full-time nanny and there is currently no childcare openings in our area, with long waitlists, and the prices are comparable to our mortgage payment. Would we be eligible for an expedite request on the basis she will be providing childcare for us? Thanks in advance for reading.
  6. Has your case been sent to NVC yet? Ours was just sent from NVC to the London Embassy but nothing new since then
  7. I see. We got an email last week saying that NVC was sending our case to the embassy but nothing since then.
  8. Thank you for the information! How do I know if they have received her file from the NVC yet?
  9. Oh man sounds like we have a while to wait for our interview then
  10. Yes we are fully vaccinated too 😞
  11. I am petitioning for my mum to move to the US. NVC said they were approving all of her documents and sending them to the London Embassy last week. Does anyone know how much longer we can anticipate this process taking? I am aware there is a backlog due to the pandemic. We applied in August 2020.
  12. Yes, we are hoping to visit my mum next month and my understanding is that we will need a negative test result 72 hours or less prior to departure, to test on day 2 and 8 per the government guidelines (we also plan to test out on day 5 if possible) and then a test prior to flying home. We will quarantine until we can test out at a family members home. Really disappointed that we are not slated to be on the green list, being on the amber list is no different to how things have been this whole time.
