Quick question. If it says on the ceac that the visa is "issued" it means it had left the embassy to be delivered right? Or am i wrong on that one?

It only means the visa has been stamped on the passport, whether or not it has left for delivery is unclear and only an e-mail from the embassy will tell.

It has left the BIG house to YOUR house. Check 2go for current status.

To update your delivery preference follow this link:
http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-iv-documentdelivery.asp

To track your visa status on the CEAC use the link below ( K-1 is processed as an immigrant visa) :
https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=WwjqOlbeRYzCYubaSQI+RA==

To track your visa status on USTRAVELDOCS this link is an option:
http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-passportretrieve.asp#trackingoptions

Here is a list for 2GO locations:
http://supplychain.2go.com.ph/CustomerSupport/tools/outlets.asp

Tracking your visa through 2GO:
http://supplychain.2go.com.ph/CustomerSupport/tools/tracking.asp

~  2 days after ISSUED  you can try to call 2GO at this number to check status 901-1404  (2GO picks up the visa packages from the embassy at 5PM weekdays)

*Dashboard is blank on USTRAVELDOC*

After the interview, finding you dashboard on USTRAVELDOCS blank is very common.  You have 24 hrs after the interview to update your registered DELIVERY ADDRESS for your visa, if you want to change it.  After the 24 hours everything will go blank, then once the visa is issued all your data will appear again.

One Additional Way Of Checking your Passport/Visa Status

You can verify the status by sending your passport number as the SUBJECT and email to

passportstatus@ustraveldocs.com

If you receive an automated reply that says "Not Delivered," then your passport is  ready for pick-up at
the 2GO branch you selected.

Prior to "Not delivered," the status would be "Transit from post."

A visa is "affixed" to one of the blank pages in the passport. It has an adhesive and is applied to the passport. Embassy's do not send email's to inform you of the status of your visa. You need to check your P3 letter where most times it will explain "what's next" answers and check CEAC for current updates. Once the status goes to "issue" within a day or so it's in the hands of the delivery company.

I know, I just wasn't sure what was the right word so I just used the generic "stamped" :jest:

It's probably different in the Philippines, but in Brazil once the passport is ready to be picked up at the ASC, they send you an e-mail to set an appointment to pick it up. I think it's different for every country.

I learned something new. Your right it is different. Some don't send messages and others do.  Thanks for the information.

PS. Sometimes my answer is given so others don't misconstrue the intent of the post or the answer(s). Not to judge. :thumbs:

@Greenbaum Thanks for explaining.

@K1visaHopeful Although I understand what you mean, I do understand why @DenisAlma said what is said, because we were here for a long road and know each other not because I am anything. For someone suddenly seeing different numbers and 1 year extension for the first time, it can be confusing (Actually Greenbaum taught that to me at first when I thought I would need it and I was confused too, as I didn't expect to have 1 year worth of extension possible)... But I do not fancy being called anything like that... I believe it is only because of the time spent together here waiting..

I wish I had more time to explain when I was writing but I could only give the bit of information I had. (I need to figure out my internet problem...)

Your not the only one who has waited a significant amount of time. No one with any certainty can give you a firm date of when you will be able to get your case number. We have seen 1 day and we have seen outwards of 6 months. Things are running about 2-4 weeks now. Keep trying to call. Just a little more patience is needed.

Thank you.  I do have a case number.  I'm on day 23 waiting to be sent to the embassy.  Hopeful to see "in transit" soon.

@Greenbaum

You’re the one came up to my mind although I am aware this is probably not the thread to ask. I’m getting questions about AOS and I do have links for guidelines and such but couldn’t find anything (possible lack of my internet I couldn’t search too much yet) about what to do. Is there any simple post you saved regarding to that?

I’m sharing the simple flow when asked on what to do. And I know it is not too much to do (get ssn get married is the basic... ) but maybe something like “what a k1 needs to get an ssn? Or anything related to such topics?

I have a website that I created a while back and the information for getting an AOS is still current. I have an overview of what is needed once you land at your POE and have kicked off your shoes and relaxed for a few days. It covers when to get a SSN, where to go and what documents are required. Then it talks about bank accounts and drivers license issues. I tried to get everything you will do once you land in the USA to settle in. I hope this helps.

Exactly (and even more!) what I needed :) thank you!
