Hi everyone. I ask for my friend because she can't speak English. She came to usa 2 months ago by K1 visa and now her fiance change his mind. He said he didn't want to marry her anymore. She is painful but yes she has to leave usa because he doesn't want her to live in his house right now. She will leave here soon before the I94 expires and she wonder it affects her applying visa in the future. So her question what the problem will she have if she want to apply for usa visa next time. Thank you everyone.

so sorry it happened to your friend

as stated she should leave before her i94 expires and keep proof of having left in time,

Thank you. Anyway, does she have to do anything before she leaves or just leave? She wants to make sure she is not related to him anymore after she leaves.

So.. she‘s leaving with the intention of filing for another visa? Her fiance breaks up with her and her only worry is if she can come to the us again afterwards? Seems like she‘s getting married for the wrong reasons and is one of the people that‘s making this process so long for the rest of us..

Who know the future? She's just worried about what if she will come to usa by tourist visa or maybe marriage visa. Here is visa journey not a site to share about life story. I know my friend and she is devastated now. She intended to commit suicide after this thing. So if u can't understand us, please don't judge anything. We had to suffer this long process like u do right now.

If enough time has passed I don't think it will affect another immigrant visa. If she goes back to her country and all of a sudden has another American fiance that wants to bring her over... then that may be a problem.

Tourist visa will likely still be whether or not ahe has strong ties to her country.

Very sad story.  @Flippsie he filled out the petition - not her.

As long as she leaves before the I-94 expires future filings will not be affected by returning home.  The fact that she was petitioned for and received a K1 visa can never be excluded from future applications and will probably come up in future interviews.  It is doubtful that this will affect her in the future unless she (1) overstays or (2) omits the story in the future.

I'm kind of with this persons sentimemts.

As unpopular as that may be but they are right ..seems fishy that someone would loose their fiance after moving to a new country to get married..and the worry is if it will affect their next immigration.

Yes that makes it harder on EVERYONE here who is doing it for love not a visa

If she is having suicidal thoughts she needs immediate help. Also, this can result in a denial of a future visa. If she’s suicidal, why is she even thinking about another visa? Get help for her immediately.
