Does an approved I-129F expire?

I appreciate all of the help I've been getting on this site. How long can my fiance wait to schedule the interview after our I-129F is approved? Does it expire?

The reason I asked is because she's on an ofw contract until next year. She doesn't want to interview in the current country she is in. So if I file now, and she gets approved in the next 4 months, she won't be able to schedule the interview until she gets home. Meanwhile I'm planning to start another job after sending my I-129f application. So can my fiance wait for a few months before scheduling the interview?

Oh, she definitely won't be approved in the next 4 months. Don't worry about that. :P

And I believe you have 6 months from approval to schedule the interview and then the application expires? Someone will know for sure.

Yes. It can expire.

the NOA2, or I-129f petition approval will have an expiration date on it. If not official action is made on the case, such as interview scheduling, request of change of embassy, ect.. it can expire yes.

Are you going from Philippines? Maybe the expiration period is different in other countries. Hopefully not.
