I'm filling the ds-260 and got to the session that asked if I have been vaccinated. Well, I have been immunised with some of the required vaccines when i was little but I don't have the record. Is it mandatory to get the Vaccination done before I complete the ds-260 form and send my package?

You will get all the vaccinations that are need at the time of the medical examination so do not worry.

Not needed before package sent.

I can only speak for Ireland but vaccinations can be done on the day of your medical and they just charge an extra fee . I would assume it is the same for other countries also.

Do not click no, you will select yes on the DS-260 because you will have your vaccinations before the interview..That question can be quite confusing..However it is not mandatory to do it before submitting the Ds-260, but mandatory to do before your interview, but you will need to wait until you receive your interview date and letter because you will need to take that with you to the clinic.

No do not follow this advise.

If you do not have proof of the vaccinations in your hands when answering the ds-260, then you SHOULD check no and explain that you will recieve all necessary vaccinations at the medical exam.

@schik like I said you can select YES because you will have your vaccinations before the interview..I selected yes on our Ds-260, hubby already had his interview, and got approved with no issues..As one of the posts said, either one will work but only one is true, so it's pretty much up to you what you want to select..If you select no, it won't be a problem because an explanation will be given and if you select yes, it still won't be an issue...I see that you will be going through the Lagos Embassy so wishing you well on your journey..

Selecting YES may work but it is NOT the correct or truthful answer.  It's a matter of entering the information correctly and accurately and truthfully at time of filing.

If the CO was being a stickler, they could deny you upon material misrepresentation because you provide proof that you did NOT have the vaccinations before the medical when you answered the ds-260.  Chances of that are so slim it's a piece of paper, but... it's there.

I wasn't thinking if it were a matter of being truthful or not because when I asked this question by someone who was supposedly so knowledgeable on this process, they told me to select yes because my husband will have already had his vaccinations at the time of interview and they assured me it was the correct response and myself, I am thinking the same..I know of other people that selected yes and got approved..Trust me when I say it is never my intentions to not be forthcoming on any of my docs..I am just thankful we had a CO that wasn't a stickler and we were approved...
