Finally get to mark myself red, I'm officially a U.S. citizen! There were 99 people including myself became naturalized U.S. citizens in the ceremony. Each was seated by a seating number that was given to you, and that was the same order they go by when handing out the certificate. A Welcome Packet was handed out, inside the packet you will get a passport application, a small American flag, The Citizen's Almanac, etc. The auditorium was pretty packed, and the ceremony took about 3 hours. Thank you to VisaJourney and thank you to everyone who shared their timeline and experiences.

Congrats!  Time to party.

Ok. I read that too but it says LPR but she is a conditional resident. Just gonna apply for her passport and see what happens

Thanks for the info.

From my understanding, she needs to be LPR (10 year green card) before she receives citizenship from your naturalization.  Hopefully others will correct me it I am wrong.

I was thinking the same thing but she is 9 and @Name O Boy post made a lot of sense. When you call USCIS all you get is MISINFORMATION. But I will do some more research.

Yes, and according to the link @Name O Boy posted, it seems the process is to file a N-600 form for your child.

If you go to this link (https://www.uscis.gov/n-600 ), there is an option to view "Instructions for Form N-600 (PDF, 328 KB".

In this form there is a "Who Should File Form N-600" section. Why don't you go through this and see if it applies to your situation, as you know it best.

Best of luck! Hope you figure it all out.

I received my NOA dated 08-10-18. I registered online and it states that a notice about Bio-metrics has already been sent on the 11th. Which I am yet to recieve.

if you applied online your notices should be appearing in your documents tab online. Check there, if not give USCIS a call.

What is your field office? Some have longer processing times than others.

My field office in Los Angeles! I thought online application would be faster than paper application regardless wherever the field office it.

Maybe paper adds a few days on for processing, but some offices are just longer than others. Over here in Minnesota, we might be lucky to finish up in summer of 2019.

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

Hey guys, I applied for my N400 this month.. and have already got my biometrics appointment scheduled.. I applied online so all the documents are made available online, but I missed my apartment number in the actual form when I submitted it.. anyone have any idea how I can edit it or if I can call them and be like I missed my apartment number in my form .. I am hoping I can tell them to edit it when I go for my biometrics.
