I got a notification yesterday saying:

USCIS system maintenance: Wednesday, April 25, 2018, from 9pm until midnight (Eastern). Case Tracking may be unavailable during this time.

So there is a problem and they will fix it tonight.

Hello,

Always book your ticket as stated in your passport which is most likely your maiden name, and carry a copy of your marriage license with you to show when you get back in the US to show CBP.

Airlines are very strict about names on the ticket matching the passeport.

I will do exactly that, thank you!

So I was reading up about interviews since our interview is finally scheduled.

Came across this amusing article and wanted to share:

Can anyone share how they received their interview letters?  Does it come USPS priority, or just regular mail?  Did it show up in informed delivery?  Did you get texts/emails before or after receiving the letter?

Sorry for all the questions, but my apartment building apparently lost a phantom USPS package and can't find it, but I never got notice of it from informed delivery so I have no idea what it was.  I'm just hoping not the interview letter..

11/01/2017 AOS Package sent via USPS - Chicago Lockbox

11/07/2017 Package delivered after being lost by USPS (thanks USPS!)

11/15/2017 Received email and text notifications from USCIS

12/05/2017 Walk in Biometrics

01/19/2017 Text that EAD is in production

I'm pretty sure it comes via regular mail. I'm waiting for my own. You could call and ask a Tier 2 officer about it?
