What do you mean get a copy? From USCIS?
The answer to that is no. USCIS only mails documents to petitioner.

If you need a copy of NOA2 for your interview, petitioner can send that copy to the beneficiary

Well First USCIS kicked me out the door with maintenance then VJ kicked us all out :D

I think you're fine? This is only an NOA2-
It's not like you can overstay without the visa itself so I think you should be fine.
Obviously, have your usual proof- ties to home country, etc in case u're asked at the border. 

 

Enjoy ur time together!

Hi August filers

 

First time posting on here but I'm just getting really anxious about the wait for our NOA2!

 

Our petition was received on August 23rd 2017, on March 21st 2018 I submitted an enquiry as it was outside the normal processing times and was told our case was being adjudicated and should receive a notice of action within 45 days. Fast forward 45 days, still nothing. Called again to query, got put through to Tier 2 who could only tell me that the case was still pending and put in another request and told me I know had to wait a further 15 days for a response. When we hit that 15 days, it would've been 9 months since our petition was received, I know it's a long process but I feel like I'm getting no information and just constantly being told to wait longer, I know it's a waiting game but daaamn give me something!!

 

Is anyone else also waiting this long to receive their NOA2?

There's at least about 6/7 of Augustines waiting for NOA2
Scroll back the last 3 pages (Pages 103 and 105 in particular)-- I believe there is a list of individuals waiting there.

it's a long and tough journey!
Just know that waiting longer does not mean being denied- As we just saw some people from MAY (yep, basically those who files a year ago) get approved a few weeks ago.
So hang on- it's coming (hopefully soon!)
