AOS = affidavit of support, not adjustment of status  

For my country, they want a letter to get police record but it is not the case for all countries, so you may want to check on yours.

I think that ,after a time that we finally became "experts" in the therms of all this things of CR1/IR1 and removing of conditions (ROC), we all were at the beginning like

for NVC stage will photocopy of all documents will work or need original. I was thinking may be the originals are required at consulate stage during interview.

Ive seen where they said that photocopies are acceptable:) n originals are needed for d interview

What you submit to NVC will be copies. Originals are taken to the interview.

I am the petitioner and I am divorced so do I need to send my original divorce certificate to my spouse for interview or copies will work. or NVC will forward everything..

Originals are ONLY required at the embassy stage and the benefitiary is the one who needs it , including AOS originals documents!

The embassy will forward you at time of the interview all the originals!

Hi guys goodnight. ..hope everyone is well and in Good spirits ..jus asking a question. .so my wife Will be filing her taxes next month ..am reading up on d whole nvc process n am seeing that she shouldn't file her tax as single but as "married filing separately"is that correct since am living in another country? And what about the taxes she filed before we got married? We got married in may of 2017..is the the whole filing as single, married or married filing separately a big deal..please shed some light. .all the best guys:)

Ok..noted thank u...so what about the the other taxes that she filed in the pass 2years will she have to amend them? Or jus start filing as married filing separately? Shes a usc
