Yes, when my wife and I started the process in August  I was working in another division in my job, then the days to me seemed eternal, Once i was transferred to Informatics,i middle September time just was passing quickly!

Getting distracted is the best we can do, BUT, there´s always a but, I give my back to this during 5 months and a hlaf, always concerned a little in December coz of the case number not working, but, now, it´s time for retake the energies on this and prepare all the stuff for the next stage and know more about what to do, now that less than 2 months left for the NOA2, or RFE, whatever!

Tomorrow will be 6 months since NOA1!

Have an awesome day!

I took on side jobs (easier for me because I can work remotely for those) to keep myself busy and of course earn more money so that we can get our house and my car and pay for other expenses. Also been keeping up with the local property listed for sale, and I talk to my husband a lot about those that catch our fancy :D

Yes, we everyone find a way to go thru this with the minimum of anxiety, pain and so...

I don´t know you, but when I see the night falls (in here in Bogota the sunset is about 6 pm) really quick, I feel way better, much more distracted, talking to my wife and son without interruptions and feeling and saying this to myself:

Another day spent, another day less, another day closer to my wife and child forever!

Is my shield and my daily repetitive phrase, my relief!:yes:

Good Morning!

Yes, those documents are good.

My NVC package is going to be assembled like this:

1- General Cover Letter

2- Checklist.

3- NVC Welcome Letter.

4-IV Cover Letter Package (Out of the Manila Sheet of Package IV).

5- Package IV.

6- Cover Letter of Package AOS (Out of the Manila Sheet of Package AOS).

7- Package AOS.

8- Content letter of Other Supporting Documents (Out of the Manila Sheet of Other Supporting Documents Package).

9- Package Other Supporting Documents.

This, guys is the order of the list sended by NVC at their stage, Is going to be one entire package, but separated in three packages inside.

All the documents page (except NVC Welcome Letter, General Cover Letter and Checklist) must have written on right top the NVC case number, is highly recommended to do this, in case they confuse in NVC the papers are easier to reintegrate them to the case! I´m going to do that too, I´m NOT giving any advise that I wouldn´t follow!

@Jer1234 Thanks for your kind words to us, it´s a pleasure when we felt helpful and making others feel better! Thank you a lot!

Way to go Jhonny...... Keep all those positive vibes flowing.. It is most beneficial to be ready with the documents bedt as possible so when ready, off they go to NVC.

Thank you for this thread.

I have a question to ask:  I was a student and graduated in May 2017 and worked part-time. I Started a full-time job in July and currently making above the requirements, but taxes only reflect the amount I made from July to February.  Now, My question is: What should I put in 19a (i864) for my total income? Should I put the amount I make yearly or the amount my taxes reflect. For example, Currently (new job), I make $30,000 in a year and my taxes reflect $15000. Totally confused.

Hello UMD92, Because you have until April this year to file 2017 Tax’s you can use 2016, 2015 & 2014 for the last 3 years. Then you can make a copy of your W2 for 2017 showing your income for the entire year of 2017. You can also supply 3 months of current paystubs... If you file your documents to NVC after April deadline filing then you have to simply write a letter explaining your situation..

Hope this helps.. I just got done with NVC so all is fresh in my mind..

To me , just reflect the money that you did in your full time job!

But I´m not sure! Really I´m not, that part of taxes and I864 let it in my wife´s hands, and I do the entire other thing!

Let´s let people with more experience answer this and , if they don´t create a thread with your answer!

Sincerely I don´t want to give you a wrong advise!

NVC process is very delicate!

I see Sundee answered !

Yes I answered but if it goes past April deadline then the last 3 Tax years to supply will be 2015, 2016 & 2017 with an explanation letter. Copy of W2 and 3 months of pay stubs would be good..
