USCIS Texas processing times?

Hello this is probably a dumb question - but my fiancee and I just mailed off our K1 application to the Texas service center.

I checked their website for processing times but the chart confuses me...

Is it indicating that they are currently working on K1 visas from back in July?

To be very honest with you, forget USCIS processing times, join the group here in Visa Journey that best matches your timing and try to follow the timeline here.

All k-1applications are being forwarded to the California service center. When you get your Noa one it will show that it is at the CSC.

Currently, they are processing for August filers. USCIS didn't update their website frequently. 

 

Aside from that, all petition is sent to Texas. After they received your package, they will forward your petition to California Service Center.

Everyone sends their petitions to the Texas lockbox, from there it get's forwarded to appropriate office for processing.

 

Is you case number like WSC*****? (think thats the right code) then it's in the California processing center.

 

Also like said above, the USCIS timelines are always behind. Main thing is just sit back, relax, and wait it out.

I-129Fs are sent to the Texas lockbox. All I-129Fs for a K-1 are then sent to California (CSC) for adjudication. The Texas Service Center (TSC) does not process I-129Fs for a K-1.

The I-129F will be sent to CSC. They handle all I-129Fs for a K-1 at this time.

The K-1 itself doesn't come into play until after I-129F approval and NVC processing.

Me too, sent off mine a week ago. If i live in California, will it still go to California??

ALL I-129F petitions go to the Texas lockbox (Lewisville, TX). 

Then they get sorted out and then ALL I-129F petitions go to be adjudicated at the California Service Center, which has the code "WAC". 

You will see this WAC code on your NOA1.
