Family!!! My hubby just got approved! I got the notification off CaseTracker app! I love that it has confetti and everything lol! I will officially begin the N-400 app today! We just submitted docs to our accounting rep. And once I have the official tax return documents I’ll submit and file it. I won’t even wait for my tax return money lol! I’m ecstatic! Wishing all of you a speedy approval! Let’s get this citizenship!! If that’s the route you choose ;)

No idea where my case is now, could be on Mars based on the movement I see on my online account. See image attached.

I finally was able to get in to the new myaccount site and I just realized that my husband's case file history is identical to your case in dates and all of those transfers. The only exception is that our case was received Jan 5, 2018. Life in Mars for us as well? jk ;-)  Hopefully and fingers crossed all get approved and another circle of life completed. We have not filed for N-400.

Wanted to provide an update to all the folks here.

I had applied for n400 (sent a paper application) in dec’2018 and did the fingerprints also in december itself. The online portal was updated few minutes after the fingerprints. Its been a waiting game since.

Hi. Sorry to correct you again. Im sure we were not mixed anything. You can search all the conditions for apply us citizenship through marriage on google and on uscis website  showed very clear that you have to at least 3 years of Permanent resident not 3 years married. However you got all set 🤷‍♂️

I am at 2y 9m of GC holding (my window for n400 opened up this week) However it is asking 3 years of tax returns, which I am not able to file for next 2-3 weeks. THe logical thought is to wait for the tax return and then file, do you think otherwise?

We went ahead and filed with 2 years (lots of posters said it was fine and they either uploaded the 3rd year later or brought it to the interview)

After 2y 9m you can file n400 and bc you file through marriage so they are also need you to have proofs for you and your spouse are still good in marriage. 3 years of tax is one of important documents to prove for that. For my opinion I will wait for the third tax and then file so you no need worry they could send you RFE for submit it in the future.

I wonder how did it happen that We have taxes for 3 years(just about to receive 4th)

3 years of  marriage, almost 3 years of residency.

Are you sure you have just 2?

That OR if @ankitpatel is planning on filing online, it's easy enough to upload the document if they RFE for it and it would be very quick for them to get the doc and continue with their app. But if he/she is planning to send the app via snail, I would wait as well.

I guess it depends on when your person arrived and you got married, not? We had just two years up until I was able to file taxes this Monday when that last silly W2 finally came in. We got married Feb of 2016 the same day after he got off the plane. If he would have been able to come/get married something like Dec 30 of 2015 then of course he would have been on those taxes for us to have the 3 years.
