I submitted my medical along with all other forms and I still don't have an interview date. Having said that I have an approved EAD and AP (Received them on 01/29). I filed on 11/10 and had bio on 12/15. So, cant say for sure if submitting medical makes any difference or not. Remember "No rhyme or reason" to USCIS processing.

That's great. Your timeline looks neat. I hope mine will also play along like yours.

Filed in NYC too in November.

Did biometrics December 7th.

Got the I-485 ready to be scheduled notice on January 9th.

No EAD/AP

Seeing jobs I qualify for everyday but can't apply

Very happy for November applicants who have gotten theirs. Pray ours in NYC will be better

haven't heard anything from them either yet about EAD/AP. I am sitting on a pile of retainer invoices (bookings, but the jobs are in April and onwards) and can't invoice anything and am almost out of money and already feel bad that my wife pays for a lot. I have job offers too, but it is mostly freelance based so...I will jump at it when I have my Work Authorization.

I am thinking about expediting - but I am kinda hoping I get approval within the next 2-3 weeks..but with my luck lol.

They received my papers on 11/27/17 - I did Bio on 12/22/17

FIngers crossed for everyone.

The status is sill "Case Received" since Nov 17th, for all i-765 and i-131. But the last update is from Jan 5th.

That's weird! My guess is a USCIS employee accidentally changed your cases, but the changes were removed. Did you get any text or e-mail alert on Jan 5th?

No, I didn't get anything. But it made me get my hopes up because I remember reading a VJ member saying that her case was "last updated" early Jan (without an actual change of status) and got approved a few days later. A few days later are almost a month for me now ... hahah

November filer here.  I am still waiting for my EAD and no updates on USCIS Status Check since the initial one when my package was received. I have been actively looking for jobs as I thought I would have received EAD by now but so far, nothing. I couldn't go any further with the start dates.

I read that some of those who filed on November got their interview letter, that's good to know. I haven't submitted my Medical Exam and opted to send it when requested so I am not sure if that decision has to do with my processing being a little delayed.

Hi 8eitghy2two,

I did not submit my medicals along with my original file and I am scheduled for an interview on the 22nd. I only received a yellow courtesy letter  around mid December telling me to do the medical exam once advised to do so or if I already have an interview notification. I don't think that's the reason for the delay, I believe it has to do more on how busy your local office is.

Not directly from USCIS. If you sign up for Informed delivery feature of USPS, you will get that info. However its too late now for EAD tracking number. You could probably do that for any future packages
