Hi all. Anyone knows if it’s worth to do online case inquiry after 75 days?  Or it’s even worse and might delay EAD processing? Any experiences? Or advices? Thx

I was thinking about it too, but I read that a lot of inquiries remain unanswered.

I had a one experience with them, but then I was on F1 (student) visa. I called them about EAD after my graduation so that I can start working on my OPT. It was helpful to call them after I cross my 75 days and enquire about the EAD. After a week they generate my EAD. I am not sure if this will be helpful while doing AOS.

Only Update I have is that of 1/10/2018 my I-485 case is ready to be scheduled online (means all was good with my Biometrics I guess?). I am in NYC - so as of now the interview should happen somewhere around August/September 2018.

Filed in NYC too in November.

Did biometrics December 7th.

Got the I-485 ready to be scheduled notice on January 9th.

No EAD/AP

Seeing jobs I qualify for everyday but can't apply

Very happy for November applicants who have gotten theirs. Pray ours in NYC will be better

November filer here.  I am still waiting for my EAD and no updates on USCIS Status Check since the initial one when my package was received. I have been actively looking for jobs as I thought I would have received EAD by now but so far, nothing. I couldn't go any further with the start dates.

I read that some of those who filed on November got their interview letter, that's good to know. I haven't submitted my Medical Exam and opted to send it when requested so I am not sure if that decision has to do with my processing being a little delayed.

I'd suggest  you do turn it in. Based on logical assumption, biometrics/background check + medical exam + application = Basis for which they will consider to proceed in interviewing you +EAD.

Like I said, it's an assumption but it makes logical sense.

Hope this helps

Nov filer too. Last update on my Status Check is when they received my applications on 20th Nov. My current EAD will expire on 10 Feb. My company already warned me about it. I have to stay at home till my new EAD arrive. I have noticed that people who entered on K visa (November filers) have got their process fast. I have submitted my medical examination form but still the process is slow.

You are right J-Jay, I regret not doing so but I had to go sort too much paper work filing it myself and not being obligated to send medical exam altogether was sort of relief to me at that time.

AJ-Ind, it must be frustrating in that situation, it's not easy to find a job in first place. I hope your employer arranges something

Yes, it is. I know, I struggled a lot to get this job and now this. My employer said they will wait for couple of months for my EAD after convincing them. I hope everything works out till then.

I filed on November 14th and according to VJ timeline estimation, I should have EAD between Feb 4th and 16th. sounds about right here and hopefully you get yours soon.
I had my first EAD two years ago for OPT and I thought this would make the second one a little faster

Hope so. That's what I thought that it will be quicker because we already had a old EAD. But I think for AOS we filed new EAD (not renewal). The only old thing they asked was A#.

I submitted my medical along with all other forms and I still don't have an interview date. Having said that I have an approved EAD and AP (Received them on 01/29). I filed on 11/10 and had bio on 12/15. So, cant say for sure if submitting medical makes any difference or not. Remember "No rhyme or reason" to USCIS processing.
