The Salt Lake City USCIS office called my phone today to tell me that the N-400 interview which would take place in two days would include the I-751 interview (a combo interview), so the spouse should also attend and bring the things related to I-751 such as joint names on documents, etc. That was helpful, and while I had them on the phone, I mentioned that I needed to reschedule the interview, in which they said the next available appointment would be in April and would schedule it for sometime then in a different notice.

I applied for N400 on Jan 2nd. I did my biometrics.

On that biometrics NOA it has a box for “service center” and it says “NBC”. I didn’t get any update about my pending I751 since March2018, not my N400 , there hasn’t been any transfer as far as I know.

Anyone has the same case?

Yes. Just like mine. What exactly are you worried about?

i would say... just go with your spouse..if you get N-400 interview or Combo interview .....most probably your case will be adjusted at your interview .  I went there by my self since  in the letter it said it was my N-400 interview, as soon as i walked in for the interview, officer asked is your wife here ? i said no... still he took I-751 interview ( Called me wife to verify what i told him is correct ) then he went on N-400 ... and finally he approved my N-400 application ...took almost 2 hours ....Good luck....post me if you have any questions ...

Thank you for you reply @Markeee! I don’t know if my case (or both cases) is transferred to NBC or no? What are your last updates on both cases?

We filed the i751 on Dec 2017 and Dec 2018 for N400.. I thought we will be having combo interview but we just received a letter for the interview for i751 on March.. It seems like we will need to have separated interview for i751 and N400..

They scheduled my citizenship interview in one month. Doesn’t say if it’s combo.. And  I have no idea what’s with my ROC since it’s still in CSC, at least what status shows. They haven’t moved it to Nebraska or local office.. so I actually don’t know what to think either. I will wait a little bit and then will try to call them. I just don’t want officer to be surprised when I go to interview with pending Roc

That why I wonder if that “NBC” on NOA letter means they transferred the case? And didn’t send notification about it?

Do you think you could call them and ask about the pending ROC, since you have scheduled interview?

I would not even think they are related. Its N400 biometrics, and even without pending ROC, it can be NBC. But that’s how I understand, plus I researched a little bit just now. Nothing seems odd to me.

Anyone on here gone for combo interview and were asked for current year or all tax returns document during the interview?

If yes, was it for the USC spouse or just the applicant (in the case of filling separately - married)

Hey everyone,

I filed my Form i751 in December, 2017,and filed form N400 January 29 under the Immigration and nationality Act INA section 319 under 3 year rule....N400 interview coming up April 3,2019 @ fort Smith Arkansas

My question do I need to call USCIS for a combine I751 and N400 interview or do they automatically schedule both interview?

Contribution will be highly appreciated.

No you don't need to call them for anything. They will have all your whole A file records in a big thick folder on the day of your I-751/N-400 interview.
