Just a quick question I have n400 interview coming up in few weeks while I have a pending ROC. Is it a necessity to go with my spouse ? Though she promised to call out from work and go to the interview with me but I just wanna ask if it’s important she go with me .

It depends.  In our case, the IO did ask me to come back for an I751 interview prior to my wife’s N400 interview, but others have had different experiences.  It is all anecdotal, I believe one person was asked to contact their spouse when they were at their N400 interview, others had no issues with their spouse not being present.  Personally, I feel it is better to be safe than sorry and have your spouse there, but if it is an undue hardship due to their jobs, I can certainly understand if the spouse cannot attend.

hi guys, my status is still " Oath Ceremony will be scheduled " since April 18. I had combo interview and I-751 was approved in April 18. I also received my green card (10 years) in May 16 ( which was unclear since I am in line for oath ceremony). It has been 2 months and I do not received oath ceremony letter. What should I do guys ?

I'm still waiting for my interview date!  :dead:

 

I just checked the processing time at the Seattle office.  It states 13.5-14.5 months!  :bonk:

For us, it took about 5 weeks from the interview, through the I751 approval to the oath being scheduled, but unlike you, my wife did not receive the actual 10 yr GC.  Maybe start a thread or search for one in the Naturalization forum to see if there is anyone else in line for the oath at the Norfolk office.

Katya had her oath yesterday in Detroit and it was nice!  I am so glad we filed the N400 when we did as now we are finished with USCIS for the foreseeable future.

You should chase for your i751 first? It is already 20 months?
