Timeline

i file form for replacing naturalization certificate in May,wait time was 9 months,3 months after i got letter that they need copy of my ID and when i sent it back they said on website that they r gonna star processing it again,right now they doing November 2016 cases,what i want to say that i dont think that info on there site is right

My guess is that they were way behind normal processing time, then one September file was processed for some reason (an expedite, maybe), and then changed the date to September to make it look better. They technically were not lying since they "got" to September.

 

And then, 6458 calls later to their call center from confused-even-angry filers made them probably rethink their strategy.

I agree, i file form for replacing naturalization certificate in May,wait time was 9 months,3 months after i got letter that they need copy of my ID and when i sent it back they said on website that they r gonna star processing it again,right now they doing December 2016 cases,what i want to say that i dont think that info on there site is right,why they started working on my case if in that time they was doing  August 2016 cases,so confusing

What to do after NOA2:

After USCIS approves the petition, it is sent to the National Visa Center (NVC). The NVC will assign you a case number and send your petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate where your fiancé(e) lives.

The NVC will mail/email you a letter when it sends your fiancé(e) case to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Once you receive this letter, inform your fiancé(e) to take the below-listed actions to apply for a K-1 visa and prepare for the interview.

I just checked  and my form is approved today 6 months after i applied,it will be a approved much earlier i got letter in August but i was out of country and i send copy of my Id 2 months after letter date,on website it says they doing December 2016 cases,now i know that what they say is not right

Yup, I'm not buying it. I think they got tired of all the calls for people saying that they want to expedite their case because it is outside of the processing time. I really don't care much for the USCIS website right now :whistle:

I kinda felt it and smelt it before. It's way impossible they work that fast! It's just no way. 

Glad I didn't believe them too much..well it is still hurt and disappointing but well yea nothing really we can do guys!
