Oh my. Have you tried calling? Or your fiance rather? Why not calling the nvc?

Maybe the noa2 was sent but never arrived in the address. Maybe you're already approved but you don't know about it. I've read cases that were like yours and when they called nvc, it was already at the consulate.

We're 175 days waiting and no NOA2 received. My fiance checked everything and still nothing received yet. Does anyone from here know who to call regarding this matter?

@Estibaliz, if I please may bother you with a question when you get up :(

My fiancé is coming from EU, and over 20 years ago she lived in Germany for couple of years. I am interested as to how we should proceed to get the papers necessary for the interview. Is there a way to get it over the internet, does she need to go to their embassy or consulate, or does she need to actually go to Germany in person to obtain the paperwork. Thanks in advance.

Btw, I have been reading the forum for couple of months, and I kindly appreciate all you have done for this community. You are awesome, and I wish you guys all the best in the future !

Ok, so if she was over 16 years old when living there then, yes, she needs the German police certificate.

Nowadays you can get that kind of documents through an online form or via mail. So go to my friend Google and check what you find there.

I've found this but confirm: https://www.bundesjustizamt.de/EN/Topics/citizen_services/BZR/Resident_abroad/Resident_abroad_node.html;jsessionid=CADFDEA56802F5FD31734BD3A5B14B37.2_cid377

Mail seems to be the way to go :)

Hope that helps!

I'm just worried because we filed it before we've even gotten the NVC number yet.. last time we called was Thursday last week and they still didnt have it..

Login the embassy's website, there is option Feedback...create a letter for them, and ask all questions you want. ...they will answer you in a couple dsys and you will get confident and calm. :)

For us they touched the file 10/11/ 17, but it stayed as "Ready" status.

you can pay the fee and send DS-160 to the embassy, to get a confirmation page with a  bar code.

I come seeking wise counsel

We want to schedule the interview. We have not paid for the interview yet. We have completed the DS-160. NVC Says "Ready". I called the embassy two times once last week and the second time just now. I asked both times when can I schedule my interview? First time it seemed like she was saying after the medical check. This time she said I can do it now!

The embassy web site says

Capture.PNG.a7093ade4a85e06e5d56fa00507a7ef6.PNG

I was asking a couple that went through this already. They said the Packet 3 was not worth waiting for. I have tried to ask them more questions with no response

The interview has to be in Poland so she needs a schengen visa. We need to schedule the interview to show why she is traveling there.

I just feel like I need to be doing something

she does not need to go to their country...what if she lived in a plenty of countries ? )) she would travel for a some months to gather the papers ..Lol

she can write an oficial request at their consulate, or ask for help any special agency ... i got one police certificate from Ukraine , with agency helping, it took two weeks to get in hands, and another one from Moldova- i sent notarized power of attorney to my friend in Moldova and she got it instead me, and sent it to Russia by ordered letter, i got it in two weeks too.

I called about 21:30 yesterday evening. I was on hold for about almost an hour, but it was all good once I got the news! ... I am in Central Time zone and usually after 21:00 my time its straight in, but I am guessing because of the holiday everyone was calling lol
