I had to do that, it's the normal processing for Spain.

However, the Embassy's website for Serbia since to point out they have to send a form of readiness when they have all the required documents in their possession, so kind of confusing.

https://rs.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee/the-interview/

Anyway, that should be clearly explained in the instructions. Mine said in bold letters to mail them the documents and wait for the authorization to schedule the interview, stating also how them documents couldn't be emailed or faxed, so sure they make the important things to stand out.

Thank you he says his form says all documents have to get mailed in.  But he has had the Instructions 2 weeks and just told me this today.    Now he wants me to rush and I am angry and I can't read the form

Hi,

Congrats to all reaching their goals!

Did any march filer file for AOS yet? I am planing to file, gathering the docs.

Btw I did my driver's licence last Saturday, life is much easier with the car, even though I can't complain on uber services until now :D

Yes, Alysia&Luis filed AOS already, they did about the beginning of August I think.  We were talking about it a couple of pages before the last page on the March thread before they closed the thread.  She had some good insight on it if you want to go look at her post.

Congrats on the driver license - that has to be much better than Uber LOL

406 Cases and only 63 i think approved. HOPING just because they are not being updated.  There was about 20 September Approvals

USCIS CASES.pdf

So your number is WAC179024...... also?   I guess I really don't understand their numbering system at uscis.... LOL

Sure hope you get your approval soon.  I can't imagine what the holdup is all about.

I understand your frustration  I knew in advance I had to mail them everything, so I made my fiance to send me everything after NOA2. Guess guys have some problem with planning ahead... ;)

Hope it's sorted out soon :)

Sooooo I noticed I got searched - here I am! :)

I had to manage the clearing of my place and had sold my iMac beginning September, so I wasn't really online anymore, since I hate doing stuff like this here on the iPhone.

Long story short - I made it! :)

The goodbyes at home were harder than expected, many tears with my (former) coworkers, my mom and my closest friends. I"ve spent my last nights in Germany in my favorite city on this planet - beloved Hamburg - and flew out from there. My POE was last Friday at Boston Logan Airport.

The Immigration in Boston was a little awkward. Seems like the IO are all more grumpy the later it gets. I had to wait long at the Immi, then got escorted to the obligatory Secondary and sat there waiting again for a felt eternity. It was just weird. I wasn't nervous, but it just felt awkward to sit and wait so long (felt long at least).
But in the end it turned out good, and after about an hour I could collect my luggage and leave with my passport.

It kind of irritated me that the officer just doodled with a ball pen on this sticker we all have worked and waited for sooooo long and now it's useless :)

Yeah, well! As you can tell:
Scott has really came to Richmond/VA to pick me up, haha! The iron rake from Germany has arrived and is very happy to be united with my perfect match.
Daily routine has already caught up. He had to work again on Monday already, works 15pm to 1am, so I'm home with the cats and trying to make a home out of this bachelors household.
To be honest - I haven't left the house without him yet. Everything is so far away; no walking distances, and I don't have a car yet. But that's fine for now. The crazy man got me a very new and shiny MacBook for my birthday, so I'm back online trying to catch up! :)

For the "formal" part: We'll go for my SSN tomorrow, he added me to his cell phone plan today, so I got my US simcard. His leave got confirmed for the last week of October/first week of November, so we will probably head out to his family in Utah in the middle of that time and make a road trip to Vegas to get married! :)

And last but not least:
Not a crazy POE pic, but a selfie right after we hugged hello! I'll keep this pic forever, because it's not only a selfie - it's the arrival after the biggest journey of my life so far! <3

To all on here that still know me, to those who don't: Good luck for all of you, congratulations to all approvals and progresses! It's so great to have the back of this community - and of course especially the Anonymous March Whiners, which I'm a proud part of! :)

Searched????   Yeah, that was me - for one anyway.   Last week I was mentioning I thot your POE was October and ESTIBALIZ corrected me that you were already stateside :D  I lose track any more of who is where..... Us poor March Whiners are spread out all over from NOA1 to AOS now.  It's so good to see the Journeys coming to completion - one by one - we are getting there.  I'm sure the sitting in the secondary screening was like waiting in the principals office at school.  At least NOA2 taught us all how to wait and wait and wait :)  Wuddya mean that jerk doodled on your K1????????   Did you yell at him?????   Of the thousands of dollars, sleepless nights and worrysome days, coupled with the effort of almost a years worth of work..... To scribble on it!   The nerve of that man!    They better not scribble on Ann's....... She'll scream at them :)

On a personal level, this has been a summer that was sooooo much better just because of the people that was in it, and your presence was the highlights that made these months sustainable.  Of all the posts to rant, to rave, to complain, to cheer, to inquire, to explain, to console, to inform, to tease; all summarized by to have each others back..........    Thanx! :D        Best of luck, success, blessings, and happiness to you and Scott.

These posts make me smile @Estibaliz , @pajobraand @Hadassah123 because I can resonate so well

- Iron and hair dryer are exactly what I bought on my last visit to my F. - Venus v Mars thing!

- And the kettle - he’s since got one of them because he now understands a ‘proper brew’ (cup of tea) is brewed at a higher temperature than what comes out of his instant hot water tap - British thing!

OMG yes a proper brew is needed for a cup of tea for sure. My family is British and we are proud of it. :) Someday my fiance and I will make it to England so that I can see where my ancestors lived.

I enjoy many of the varieties of Twining's of London tea. I don't know if it's the best, but there's something cool about enjoying tea from a company that has been in business over 300 years. I assume they know what they are doing. :D

Wishing you all the best!

Awwww thank you! That's very sweet! I'm glad if I could spread some positive spirit!
Wishing you all the best, and may you be done now soon! Hugs!

Hahaha, no I was literally sitting there like having been called to the principal and felt guilty haha
Yeah he made a circle around the "1" at the entry field and then made a huuuuuuge arrow towards the admission stamp.

Thaaaaaank you so much for your kind words! I'll for sure stick around... it has become my home. And you're a big part of that virtual home, to be honest. I loved and love reading your stuff. Guess we're sharing the same level of humor. So if you and Ann are passing by humid Virginia any time - let me know! :)
