Hi all, I had our Case Complete on June 20 (2 weeks ago). Consulate is in Warsaw, Poland. Still no freaking interview date. Does anybody know how busy Warsaw is? According to the spreadsheet, it takes 2 weeks but we have 2 weeks passed already. So freaking hard to wait. Do they even work there?

Hi,

I'm not sure which other thread to post this, but we just completed the interview yesterday. It was approved after asking only three questions:

1. Who is the petitioner?

2. When and how did you and you meet?

3. When did you get married?

A very positive experience. Staff at the consulate were very friendly and helpful. We'll go back next week to pick up the visa and my wife's passport.

I've submitted a more detailed review on the embassy reviews page. From looking at the USCIS statistics, it looks like only one or two IR-1/CR-1 visas get processed in Laos each month, so they probably don't see many people. That might be why they were so friendly there haha. On the other hand, I did notice they process quite a few K-1 visas in Laos.

Congratulations

There were 3 couples I talked to. interview dates of 11, 11 and 24 July. none knew of VJ. goes to show we're still a tiny minority and the overall number of interviews is way too big.

yes, there are around  1 million Legal PR receiver on year 2015. out of which 44% were under immediate relative... compare to this figure VJ has very limited active member.. but the best in market B-)..!

Hey guys,

It's been a long time since I last commented. Here's where I stand right now.

I arrived at DFW on 06/21. POE was really smooth. I've updated POE review.

We went to SSA office on 06/23 (I didn't check yes on DS-260 for receiving SSN directly) and applied for my SSN. I received my SSN Card on 06/30. I received my green card on 07/03. Just under 14 days from POE.

Now I'm preparing for my driver's licence test and waiting for job offers.

I hope you are all having wonderful time. I'll try to catch up ASAP.

Good luck everyone.

Congratulations!

For anybody out there waiting for an interview at the London embassy, based on the spreadsheet provided by @dwheels76, the average wait time from CC to interview is 49 days, based on the last 100 cases for the UK. Working that out achieves nothing but it makes me feel better :D

Got my medical done here in Islamabad today.

Whoever has yet to visit Aziz Medical Center, the fee has gone up from what I last read from two year old posts. They charge ~22000 PKR now ($220). that includes vaccination.

The overall time it took was nearly 4 hours so plan accordingly. I'm still recovering trying to make up for my lost time by covering my duty at odd hours right now.

There were 3 couples I talked to. interview dates of 11, 11 and 24 July. none knew of VJ. goes to show we're still a tiny minority and the overall number of interviews is way too big.

The order of check up is paper work submission, photo is taken and token is assigned ( a barcoded wrist ribbon), Height, weight, blood pressure, x ray, blood and urine samples taken, then  doctor questions about medical conditions and history, and full body checkup with your clothes off and then vaccination

@abfar Thank you for sharing!! A friend of mine's wife will have to visit Aziz Medical Center. He had few questions and will be great if you can help. I think it will help others who have yet to visit there as well.

1) What all documents were you asked to bring with you to the medical appointment

2) Did they ask you for your vaccination card

3) Is the ~22000 PKR fee for the medical test only or did it include any vaccinations they had to give you

4) What vaccinations are you required to have

5) Do they have female doctors/nurses available to check the female applicants or do you have to request them in advance

Does anybody know if EB-3 has a longer wait time for interview scheduling compared to IR-1/CR-1 please? My PD is current. I know nothing will happen today with it being July 4th but just a general question. Thanks!

I was wondering the same thing. I got my CC on the 7th of June. I did not get a July interview. I was scheduled for August so I think the timing is about average with the spouse visas. I guess we will not know for sure because there are so few EB-3 filers who contribute anywhere on this website.

Documents needed are: the P4 letter, original passport and two copies of it's data page, fill up the medical form online on Aziz med website from the Page where u register an appointment and print it, 6 passport size pics with white background , when u register on amc website for appointment they'll email u the list if requirements as well.

They didn't ask for any card. The two shots were tetanus and *pox

Vaccination charges are 3000pkr included in that 22000 charges.

Other than x-ray and blood sample , rest of staff was female but they do have multiple rooms for some steps so they might assign a male staff too.
