I'll advise you not to worry about it. It's just a redundant notification USCIS created that not everyone even gets 😂 As long as you receive a notification that a card is mailed, then your card must certainly be on it's way 😉 Also, they won't produce your card if they didn't approve you.

I actually panicked a bit because I thought the status went back to just being approved and my card was waiting to produced again 😂 They just have a way with messing with us one way or another 😅

Phew! :)

I think if someone is going to apply for SSN for the first time, you have to take Passport, EAD and birth certificate with legal translation (take the original that you use to send package).

Thanks for the heads up!

I'll be receiving my combo card tomorrow, according to the USPS app.  Will I need to wait for 10 days before going to the SSA?  Due to the SAVE system not yet updated?

Congratulations on ur card !!!!!What acknowledgement you receive when you call uscis. Do they send you email or text message ?? I want to call uscis but I don’t want to let my petitioner know about my call. Just because we may get separated. I am only concerned about my AP so that I can leave the country ASAP.

Update on case

On 09/20 I sent an online inquiry for my EAD after reading lot of updated cases here. They were going to respond to my inquiry by 10/02. Out of curiosity I called USCIS this morning. The USCIS lady told me that my EAD is 56 days because I receive RFE after my priority date. She told me she will create a case for me because my online inquiry has not been touch and gave me a case number to call with after 15 days.

After 1 hour from our conversation, my EAD status changed to card in production.

If your case has already reached 75 days I will advice you to call.

So below is my experience with tier 2 when I called...the funny part is that it changed to card is being produced in the end of the day...I advise everybody that is over 90 days (most of us) to call already!

Hi guys, I just wanted to share my experience with tier 2 today regarding my SR for EAD...

Today is day 104 of my filling and I put a SR on September 2nd...when I sent the SR they sent me an e-mail confirmation that stated that I should have an answer up to September 24th and I didn't hear anything from them...the tier 2 representative told me that my application is within the time frame and that I should wait a couple more days for an answer for my SR...he told me that I should look at the website to see the processing time for NBC  and that they where processing application from April right now, I told him that this can't be accurate since the last update on this processing times was for July 31st and that the update was on September 22...since I could not look at it at the time of the call, and he told me that there was nothing that he could do I ended up with absolutely no more information that I already had when I made the call.

I wonder if those people have any access to information more than we do because every time that I call I end up with the impression that they where only looking at my case page on USCIS website, just like I do every day...It's ridiculous and upsetting, I can't wait to have a job and be productive.

Together with I-765 I also applied for I-131 Advanced Parole. Do you guys know how much longer does it take to receive an update about AP? I thought EAD and AP come as one combo card.

Since you applied for an EAD and advance parole, your EAD card would have a statement that says, "SERVES AS I-512 ADVANCE PAROLE" meaning you received a Combo EAD/AP card. Your AP has most likely been approved as well.

So we received the written letter saying that my husband’s EAD has been approved, and we knew this last week by checking the app. But it also states that his advance parole has been approved as well, which didn’t update on the app! 😀 we are almost there guys. Now we are just waiting on an interview date, or approval for the perminat resident card
