My fiance has also been calling the NVC twice and will follow-up again by the end of this week :P Thanks for the tip about calling in the evening. Around what time is more convenient? During early mornings (7 AM EST) the wait time is ridiculous.

Around 7pm is perfect! I literally had to wait like 10 seconds, and also i feel like people are nicer duringg the evening lol

Hey guys.....

 

I know I'm thinking way ahead,  especially since I don't even have my NVC case number yet..... but I was wondering if we schedule our own appts for fingerprinting and interview. My brother in law who came here in 2016 said the NVC told him which date he'd have interview.  I was under impression that we were able to schedule the appts ourselves. 

 

He came here in a spouse visa. I'm not sure if that makes a difference.
