I'm so sorry for you. I remember your post from a while ago, I'm so sorry for the tragic news. You don't have to fish for sympathy, it's a given... Again so sorry for your loss and I truly pray for you and yours. Take care of yourself !!! Best wishes

This is so sad to hear. I was wondering what had happened since your last post, and it has been a while. I wish my condolences while you are going through, what I must believe is, a very difficult time.

Hi All,

 

Are we suppose to receive approval letter from NVC or service center?

 

I Just checked the email from Informed Delivery service there's a letter from from National visa center and its not the regular envelope size its  a bit bigger. Not sure if this is a approval/rfe, i was under assumption it would be a normal letter.

I think from USCIS. Thats kinda weird, let us know what it is.

Oh I have no idea what it is, well I have never seen a pic of noa2/rfe so.. cant say it's not. But it says Return service requested? 

I dont know, but it will be in the mail soon. Let us know, I got a bit curious now.

Will do when i get home later today, i think my mail doesn't come in until after 2pm. Doing a search on this forums, we receive Noa2 from service center and welcome letter from NVC.  I hope its not a RFE and is a approval or welcome letter from NVC.

Hi, approvals and RFE's come from USCIS, so no idea what's that about... Did you process a visa with the NVC before?

Well I know you get something from NVC but I thought it was only after noa2. When you check your case it says received still? I know they're working on cases mid - end of april now.

 

tbh I wouldnt be sad to get a rfe now lol feeling that they touched my case would be great at this point

Yes i had done a spouse visa from previous marriage before but I had gotten that cancelled  it was closed out over year ago, and I had already received a confirmation letter about it closing so not sure why they would send something from that case. There is still a chance though.

Yes online still shows received.

 

My hope is they processed the i129F and NVC sent the welcome letter before approval letter from NOA2, i've read on this forums before cases where people getting next step information before getting noa2 letters or online status updating.
