I just did a USCIS scan for applications near mine and two people within 10 numbers of mine have approvals already. I'm jealous! It's getting real!

That's weird, because usually the scans work by date, as the numbers are assigned in an orderly by date manner mostly (not always).

And they are supposed to be working around mid March... So I don't understand how they can be in April, not to mention end of the month.

Puzzled and clueless, lol

EDIT. Did you know for a fact they are forms i129F? Because there's other types that they get approved faster.

EDIT2. Not to mention the tracker doesn't really update for approval except once in a blue moon... RFE'S are the thing to look for to know where they are working at...

Sorry, my logical mind kicking in and trying to find an explanation :P

hello everyone.

The waiting game for is getting tough and hard.

Me and Fiancé is not our in best times right now.

We fight, jealousy, insecurities and I feel like I am about to give up.

I've been wanting to share about in this group, I am just not that type of person who talks about private life to other people.

But we are all in the same page of our life chapter.

Everyday is a sacrifice and worth waiting.

I cried so hard everyday, and my fiancé too because we really hate the situation we are right now.

As much as he wants to come back and visit me again, we would rather save the money so I could get a direct flight as I have asthma and I can't travel for long hours.

I miss him so much. I am getting possessive sometimes, I feel like every girls around him will flirt with him :(

I wish this waiting game would end soon.

I am patiently waiting.

Praying that God would extend our patience.

IF its meant to happen, it will. In the right time. In God's time.

I just don't want to be traumatize again as we have rejected on our first packet for sending old form (even we got it from uscis site) I don't want that to happen again.

My depression and anxiety is getting worse.

The only thing I am thinking right now is

It will come when we least expect it.

I wish I would here from them even if its an RFE or I would be happy if it will be NOA 2 already.

With God nothing is impossible.

I am sorry for venting out.

I'm sorry that you guys are struggling.  Have you been able to have a conversation about how things are going and how you both are feeling?

Perhaps you could try to focus on the positive things and begin preparing and making plans for the future.  Maybe that would help take some of the insecurities away?

What do you mean you only talk on your off days?

If you mean you guys only talk on the days you're off of work I'm sure that increasing your communication would really help.  Making people are priority is very important  especially in a long distance relationship.

My fiance leaves his house at 5:40am and usually doesn't get home from work until about 9pm, Monday through Friday.  We make sure that we talk every single day multiple times a day because we know how important it is in order to have a strong relationship.

This of course still does not mean that we are devoid of disagreements.  Those are inevitable but we try to make sure that we work through whatever is going on between us and a timely manner so that it doesn't boil up.

Long distance relationships are very hard especially when you add immigration on top of it.  Try talking to him and see if there's a way to increase your communication so that you guys can work through the problems that you're facing right now.

really? I'm happy they're finally touching april cases. but that's odd. Mine is 17th as received date but we got the hardcopy 19th. What should we follow notice date or received date?

I know. Long distance is really hard. 8000 miles away.

13hrs of time difference.

It so freaking hard. I wish he would cooperate more on this.

Idk. I wish this will be fix soon :(

I hadn't been paying mine much attention until GreatleMae received their NOA2 as an April 19th filer. I'm not sure why they jump around so much. We had an April 6th filer get theirs too. My guess is the rogue agent theory... pick a box at random. I'm sure the background checks play a part in the waiting times but what box of applications and when it gets attention is anybody's guess.

Do we really have a 6th April one Approved? Hah, it should have been me :P

I saw that on May's thread too, but when I asked about it I was told they made a mistake with the dates and it was actually the same case from later that had already being reported.

I don't know. I'd really wish they were already touching more April cases, but I'm trying to keep it real and not to let my hopes high, since it still seems a coincidence or an odd occurrence to me. But it won't be in a couple of weeks :D

Actually, now that I think of it. I've been manually gathering all April cases numbers and worked recently on that date... I have to say i did see that case as Approved, but it was the only one. Which makes sense since the tracker doesn't work normally except for RFE'S. I assumed it was an expedited case, since non RFE'S at all there... But I have to stop mulling over it, lol.

Great point!  Interesting theory for sure and it's probably true to a certain point I bet.  It's not easy to organize thousands of files and applications.  And when they are divided between different teams and employees you are going to get some randomness built in.  Some teams probably work faster than others.  Or teams get unlucky and are assigned cases that are a lot harder to work on.  So you get a situation where Team A and C are working on older cases still, but Team B has already worked through their cases have picked a new box and are working on newer cases.  In the end you get a situation where there is no way to tell when X or Y case will be approved or touched.  And you will simply go loony if you try to analyze it too deeply.

Take a step back and enjoy the journey.  I enjoy every minute I spend on facebook talking, camming and chatting with my Fiancee.  We are always in contact on chat, it's great.  Knowing she will be with me soon is comfort enough.  And of course I am too busy enjoying life, baseball and preparing for her arrival to worry about when the NOA2 will come.  Cheers!

I've always considered and accepted the random nature of the application process. Each approval whether it's February or April is one less in the stack to get to mine. Seeing at least one approval in our time frame has just kindled the hope and enthusiasm, for me at least, that I'm growing ever closer to the goal of being with my sweetheart again. Permanently. And finally continuing the real journey of our relationship together past the "speed bump" of the immigration process.

Cheers!

Yeah, that's an old theory going around for a while now. It seems plausible to me.

I guess my point in trying to explain what's happening with a case or two being already touched is just to say don't let your hopes to get too high. I mean, anything that cheers up the impatient ones is welcome, but not if that is going to cause stress when weeks keep passing by without any news... Because this process is so random that better not try to make plans based on assumptions.

As you said, we have to try and enjoy everyday with our significant others, as well as family and friends while we still have the chance. Time will come sooner or later. So let's share the wait and get the support we need here, and be happy to see other people moving on. Because it will be us when the time comes too.

I probably missed you debugging the April 6th approval. Trying to track the forums on my mobile device makes it easy for me to miss important details. That and my 10 second attention span. :)
