Day 11 after NOA2 :o

I've just spent like 20 minutes gathering all the information and tips Gary's going to need to call NVC later today, since he's kind of clueless about the whole thing. Hope that goes well :)

I'll let you know how it goes, of course. @tcovington both lines can see K1's, but we are going to try with immigrant, option 5, because they used to be the only ones able to see electronic cases in the new system.

You guys are calling NVC today? I will call this Thursday which is day 15 from noa2. Easier for me to call because Chris works odd hours. Plus I am off work Thursday lol

Well got the daily informed delivery an no NOA2 yet. Saw the first of the people from the 14th of April started getting them so hopefully this week for us (4/17). Kind of getting nervous since I have a business trip that starts on Labor Day and will put me away from my mail for 2 weeks. Hopefully everything will get sent to the lawyer and he will just send me scans of the documents.

Keeping my fingers crossed right now that we get approval soon. Already likely pushing into November for getting her Visa and me visiting her family. Only bad thing is her sister is getting married in November in Delhi so I might arrive to nobody in Kathmandu.

Wow ok, thanks for that info. I think we'll have to do a bit more prep to have it all ready to send off together then.

Its such a long time to not be able to work. I think I'm going to go insane.

Edit: just seen @lon552 response.

Thanks for your help guys :D. Looks like I'm gonna have to find some hobbies.

I think the ideal day to call would be Wednesday, since it's day 13 and I've seen a lot of people getting their case number on that day. But Gary telecommutes today, so that gives us the chance to call together and see how that works.

Seeing how @Jeff and Alina just called and their case wasn't there yet, my hopes have fallen down to zero... So we'll see when we can call again.

I'm not calling because it's expensive from Spain. I could use some cheap or maybe free internet service, but I refuse to have to go through the bother of setting that up. NVC has long hours, so I'm sure Gary will find time to call himself, because I'm not a phone person and I'm a bit tired of doing everything :P

On a more positive note, it's Mail Monday! So I hope lots of NOA2 are coming your way :D Please, share the good news ;)

Happy solar eclipse day, for those that will see it (but not directly unless you have protective glasses).

Congrats!!

Thank you! Not sure if it's the NOA2 or an RFE, but either is fine because it shows that they're working on the case. So I'm happy anyway. I got so excited that I had to wake my fiancée up and share the news :P:jest:
