Can't add to my signature

I had a nice ticker in my signature, and I would like it back, but every time I tried to save it (I was just updating my timeline on my signature) it said it could not find the dimensions. 

I even tried a different ticker website and it doesnt work.

I'm having the same problems, it's not just you. It's probably a bug affecting everyone. I hope they fix it soon.

I think I know what the bug is: linked images. If you upload an image via an attachment, it will show up in the signature. But linked images, including tickers, seem to give the error message about dimensions. :/

 

Hope they fix this problem soon.

Same issue...it's not just linked images, but even the emoticons are triggering that error.

You can still add text signatures. Just go to this link and add whatever text you'd like there:

So emoticons are no longer allowed in signatures? My pre-existing ones show up but I cannot add a new line with an emoticon

Saves fine if I remove the 1 emoticon ():

Error: Unable to retrieve signature image dimensions for http://static.visajourney.com/images/uploads/emoticons/default_dancin5hr.gif, please try another image.

It's the same error for any linked image. :/ Seems it doesn't even matter what the source is. The only images that you can add to signatures now are the ones you directly upload yourself.

Can you post a link to any linked image that does not work?  The debug team is asking for an example.

Sure. My ticker used to work, now it gives the same error message the others are getting.

since VJ site update, adding images/ticker to the signature had an error.

Anyone with an image in their signature prior to the update, will still show, but once you try to update, the error message is 

"Your chosen signature does not meet the guidelines" or another message to do with the dimensions.

Previously, my ticker worked, but now doesn't.
