I've seen people checking regularly after making their appointment that were able to reschedule for an earlier date, probably because someone else cancelled or rescheduled too, so you can always keep an eye there and try your luck :)

I will check again tomorrow morning. I'll wake up extra early. 😊 thaaank you so much 😊😊

Congrats. Update your time line so you can see how many days it took.

The American can call NVC starting next week to see if they have the case file and the new case number.

Actually once you are past the USCIS stage, either the petitioner or beneficiary can call. NVC will ask you for your names and dates of birth and receipt number. We got our case number by calling NVC.... didn't have much luck with calling the embassy, only tried twice though and by then our case showed READY so I went ahead and sent in Packet 3. @Ariel&Mahum

Yeah @Yzabelle just get up when you're up! :)
I made my interview date like at 5pm.
People keep changing all day long, so you don't have to hurry up early. Actually it might be better to check noonish or so, so all the changers and changerettes have been done changing ;)

I called the NVC and they had assigned our number. The odd thing is that the represenative stated that our package is in administrative processing. I asked what that meant. He stated that it was "pulled aside for some reason" and "to call back in a week".

Has anyone else experienced this? I searched this site and found a couple cases from about 2013. While there was plenty of speculation and hyperbole, it does not look like the VJ members explained what actually occured. Any assistance is appreciated!

Hi everyone, I just checked my informed delivery and see that I have two letters from the USCIS. I'm not sure if that's good news or bad. Right now I'm just happy to have some kind of letter after 184 days since NOA1. It's going to kill me waiting all day to check the mail.

oooh thats wonderful. Please let us know what they were. :D Hopefully your NOA2. You have been waiting 40 days longer than I and you deserve it.

It has to be good news! Remember what happened to @Ana&Matt? They also got two letters in the mail the same day, and it was the approval (plus I think the other one was related to an inquiry?).

So excited for you :jest:
