Well, I am now officially very nervous. I see all these posts about checks getting cashed in a few days and receiving the NOA quickly.  My USPS tracking number indicates that our I-751 packet was received by the CSC on the morning of 3/29/17 but the check still hasn't been cashed and we haven't received the NOA. Has anyone gone more than ten days before getting a response or check cashed going through the California Service Center?

I mailed mine to CSC 3/24 and it was received 4/25. My money hasn't been cashed yet, not have I received a NOA1. Try not to worry too much. CSC seems to have slowed a little.

CSC here too, arrived on 03/25, no cheque cashed, no NOA-1.

It seems this may be related to some issues at USPS at the end of that week. It does suck a lot.

Did my biometrics on Thursday at San Marcos north of San Diego, was scheduled for 11, walked in about 10:30 was noone else there, was all done in under 5 minutes. Completely and utterly painless, now all I gotta do is wait 6-12 months for my renewed greencard I guess.

Good news is that I received my noa1 today ...the bad news is that there has been times when I've question the performance of some of the people that work for the mail service and today was one of those times: I checked the mail as soon as I saw the mail truck drive away (I live on an apt community and the mail boxes are in like the middle of the complex) and got mail from other things including bank statements but nothing from uscis ...went out to enjoy my Saturday with my family and after 5 hours of being out came home to find an envelope stuck in between my door and the door frame... you guessed it right: MY FREAKING NOA1 ...there's been a few times that I've gotten mail for other apts and I just walk to that apt and knock on their door and thank god whoever got mine by mistake did the same thing and brought it here ...now I'm freaking paranoid, what if my biometrics apt get lost because of the mail people? Smh but anyway yay got my noa, now to head to DMV before my license expires

Question has anyone had any issues showing the extension letter to their employer? My GC expires May 5th, and i am thinking about presenting the letter just so they know.

Yes, I just got a new job and they are giving me hell for the expired green card (literally expired just 7 days before) even though I tried to give them the documents a lot earlier to avoid all this.

I also tried going to the Social Security Office to see if I could get a new social security card because unfortunately mine has the legend "valid with DHS authorization only" and they said nothing could be done, my employer has to take my extension letter, that IS my authorization to work. We'll see what happens...

If anyone has any advice please tell me what to do.

My husband sent the package 3/27. According to the USPS tracking number it was delivered 3/29. We also received the green slip from USPS with USCIS stamp on it last week but the check still hasn't been cashed. Now we're getting really nervous because my husband's green card will be expiring next week. :(

You are fine! You filled within the 90 days so no need to worry. Depending which service center you sent it to, it can take a few days to a week or more before they cash your check! Good luck :)

I started a new job like a month ago and just brought the NOA 1 to my employer and they did  not even need it, they use the e-verify tool to check for eligibility to work.
