I agree with you Cynthia68, immigration process is just patience. try not to check every hour, check in the morning, then evening. Get busy, or you can go crazy and upset for nothing haha. be strong !!

What is the next thing i will see after this. When will i hear them next.

On April 19, 2017, we received your response to our Request for Evidence for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCXXXXXXXXX. Our National Benefits Center office will begin working on your case again. We will mail you a decision or notify you if we need something from you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I don't exactly know what's going to be next -- might be case transferred, approval, etc.  

I have that status ever since they acknowledged on April 7th.

Uggh. Got a text that my wife's application was updated. Went on the website and they're sending a request for initial evidence. Uggh. No idea what they need. We'll see.

 How are you all doing? So sorry I have been out of touch for some days, hope I didn't miss a lot and guess it has been fun sharing ideas, making progress and encouraging each other. I managed to distract myself for the past couple of weeks with family visitations but now have to get back on track with immigration and adjusting to living in the U.S.

 

I have my biometrics appointment on the 21st (Friday) for both the I-485 and I-765. Does anyone know if you need to make an additional appointment if your spouse is going to attend the appointment or not?

why would your USC spouse attend? 

I'm not sure they can, so I would look up the ASC and see what their policies are/if their waiting room is open to people other than the applicant.

A friend of mine came with me to my Biometrics appointment in Atlanta. She had to wait in the waiting area.

You should receive a letter for both of them. I did ask and the officer said they almost always get a letter now, because of the picture. My kid got her picture taken, and had one index finger fingerprinted.

That does suck! I would have gone crazy waiting a month on NOA, then getting RFE. I hope it's really minor and is resolved quickly. Good luck

When you guys are returning your Request for Initial Evidence, do you send it with delivery confirmation or signature confirmation? or both?  I'm expecting my RFIE letter any day now, so just wanted to be prepared.

I send anything immigration related with tracking and delivery confirmation. Signature confirmation isn't really needed in my personal opinion, but some people prefer that.
