I see there is a backlash but always wondered what the Swedish plan was?

Crime in Sweden has not gone up.... rape statistics have reasons, mainly being that women in Sweden are MORE protected by sexual offense LAWS than in other countries. The things you are quoting/saying is right-wing nationalist propaganda that have been debunked over and over by CREDIBLE scientists in Sweden. Learn basic statistics - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rape_in_Sweden and also learn about the crimes/rapes etc that are and have been performed by "ethnic Swedes" (as the right-wing propaganda likes to state) You should know that anyone can google and find a "positive", it's called confirmation bias. If you want the truth, you will have to dig deeper than that. I'm sorry but you don't know anything about Sweden, it's history, the crimes or how it is to live to there. So please don't propagate that horse poo.

I will be the first to admit that I am not from Sweden, and I have not ever lived there or any other Nordic country at all. But what I will say that I do read and watch the news going on around the world(and no I don't watch Foxnews or CNN hardly at all), but what I do see is that there is rape and sexual assault epidemic going in there and in Germany due to Migrants. You can fudge the numbers all you want or say they don't come from "Credible scientists" but it still does not negate the fact that it does happen.

The correct term is sexual emergencies.

I have nothing against Sweden. They have made a terrible mistake and it appears most are still in denial. The rapes, assaults etc will continue to increase and will get worse every year. I saw where a swedish judge ruled that it is ok to marry a 12 year old…because she seemed mature for her age and it is not right to impose rules on other cultures traditions.

I don't want to see women raped and assaulted. However, It is like a guy who gets in the lions den and is shocked that they eat him. It makes it difficult to have sympathy for people who make stupid decisions.

Makes you wonder why the Swedes would want to join in?

Oh, so you think 12 year olds can't marry in the US? And you think we don't have a rape and sexual assault epidemic in America? Perhaps before pointing at other countries, it's best to come to grips with our own problems. Sorry if the information below is too tabloidy for you.

So we have judges ruling that it is ok? I would like to see that.

I am sorry, but Sweden, like most Countries on the planet aware of Donald Trump, find him hilarious. I applaud Swedish efforts to join in on the fun.

I did not think it was that young but I knew it was like 15 or 16 in most states with parental approval. I am not saying that is a good thing at all marrying someone that young when you don't know anything about the world at all. The majority of those laws are hold overs from the 1800 and early 1900's, which they all need to be abolished I think. I think it is great to come to grips with our own problems and quite frankly we need to as country come to grip with all the problems that we are facing. We can no longer look the other way while a problem is affecting one group of people at all.

Another aspect is your articles great but they are kinda worrisome. They point out great statistics and numbers, but alot of times I noticed they just said "children" getting married and did not differentiate between the ages such as the child getting married was 12 or was she 17? Also the last one had two different circumstances on it which I thought was weird. The first one about the Pakistani girl getting married when she was 15 to 25 year old is sad yes, but it does not say in the article that it is quite common in that culture. The second example it used was the White girl who got married at 18, which I don't is a child at that point. But anyway child marriage is awful and should never happen in my opinion.

Link 1 - No mention of refugees anywhere

Link 2 - Merely quoting the man that Trump got his "information" from. The guy says things without any real references. He just says "look at the data". Well then, show us the data. This doesn't confirm Trump's view, because it is merely circular logic. Trump got it from this guy, so you can't use it to defend Trump. You need OUTSIDE data.

Link 3 - Only mentions that the perpetrators were of "foreign" appearance. That doesn't mean they were refugees. The police said that one of them spoke SWEDISH with a "foreign accent". I highly doubt many refugees who have just come over to Sweden have already learned Swedish.

Link 4 - Same as Link 3. They are going off incomplete information. If they catch the people and they are refugees fine, but merely stating "Well they spoke Swedish with a foreign accent, therefore they are refugees" is jumping the gun quite a bit.

Sorry, but any argument that uses the Daily Express to try to prove a point has already lost.

The Express only ever talks about the same things.

Immigration,

House prices,

The coldest winter in history,

The hottest summer in history,

and

The death of Princess Diana

They just regurgitate the same stories over and over again

August 2000: We start e-mailing. I'm in Bosnia, she's in Florida

October 29th 2000: She sends me e-mail asking if I would marry her

October 29th 2000(5 seconds later): I say yes

November 2000: She sends me tickets to Orlando for when I get back

December 6th 2000: Return from Bos

December 11th 2000: Fly to Orlando, she meets me at airport

December 22nd 2000: I fly back to UK

January 3rd 2001: She flies to UK (Good times)

Mid February 2001: Pregnancy test Positive

Mid February 2001: She flies back to US

March 2001: Miscarriage, I fly to US on first flight I can get

May 2001: I leave US before my 90 days are up

June 2001: I fly back to US, stopped at airport for questioning as I had only just left

September 2001: Pregnancy test Positive again

September 2001: She falls sick, I make decision to stay to look after her as I am afraid I may have problems getting back in.

April 16th 2002: Our son is born, we start getting stuff together for his passport

March 6th 2003: We leave US for UK as family

Early April 2003: Family troubles make her return to US, I ask Embassy in London about possibilities of returning to US

April 16th 2003: London Embassy informs me that I will be banned from the Visa Waiver Program for 10 years, my little boys first birthday

June 13th 2006: I-129f sent

August 11th 2006: NOA1 Recieved

After our relationship breaks down she admits to me that she had never bothered to start the application process
