Sounds like Trump will keep that all status quo.

Want better infrastructure? Well then we'll have to do what no other administration has wanted to do - raise taxes and actually use that money to pay for it.

Canada does a very good job of this, their infrastructure puts ours to shame.

That is probably because they don't have it marked down for one thing then spend the money on something completely different.

Yes, that was before he said the wall would extend the entire border. He simply presented alternative facts.

You should probably give it a rest. One could fill a book with all the "alternate facts" from the previous regime. Where were you then?

And their tax rate is high enough to pay for what needs to be done.

Yep. The tax rate here in California is VERY high and the sad thing is that the majority of people who live don't realize it. This is because they grew up here and just used to the taxes, while if you come here from another state then you see it.

I probably know more about the Canadian tax rate and tax system than I do California's for obvious reasons. For what the Canadians are taxed, I'd say they get quite a bit in return with health insurance, maternity/paternity benefits, childbirth benefits, retirement benefits and infrastructure repair.

I'd rather they start with spending more sensibly. Taxes are high enough.

Well the 'infrastructure' is pretty much only going to be the $21 billion border wall, which taxpayers will have their pockets drained for. Priorities ya know.

In all honesty $21 billion is pocket money when you consider the trillions they spend on ridiculous things. More than a trillion a year has been added to the deficit on average over the last decade. What's 21 billion?

Okay, if $21 billion is a drop in the bucket to you, how about everyone that feels like putting their hard earned tax dollars towards this useless endeavor pay up? And the rest of us will pay up for things that keep us going as a country, like bridges, roads, and critical infrastructure? ;)

I'm all for critical infrastructure as well. I'm just saying relatively speaking(compare it for instance to the foolish ARRA which cost almost a trillion) it isn't alot compared to many other things the government wastes money on. Obviously I wouldn't mind that kinda money myself I'm not saying it's not alot of money, but it's about 0.1% of the current deficit.

That guy does great commercials. His latest one he is driving around in a mini airboat. I even purchased a can of that stuff. Never used it though…so i can't say if it works.

By building the wall and stopping the flow of illegal aliens…the wall will pay for itself many times over the first year. The amount it cost taxpayers, is like 100 billion a year, to support illegals. Plus, you factor in the amount of American lives saved…..building the wall and monitoring it is a no brainer.

That's the airboat with the screen bottom that he supposedly seals with Flex Seal and then drives the boat through the marsh. They do have good commercials, but I don't know anyone who has used this stuff, so I don't know how good it really is. If you ever use it, let us know how it worked out.
