I don't understand what a Rogue Box is. Can someone please explain or point me to where I might find an explanation?  Thank you!

There were files being processed from other months and February cases had not been touched. All of a sudden ONE box of cases from February 6 were being touched. It was out of the ordinary...unpredictable order. So everyone started calling this the "rogue box". We were hoping there would be more "rogue boxes" finding their way on someone's desk so the cases would be processed. I hope this explains it. :)

01/27/2017:     I-129F Mailed

02/01/2017:     NOA1 (Receipt Date: Feb 01; Notice Date: Feb 03)

05/17/2017:     NOA2 (Received May 22, USCIS still shows as received)

05/23/2017:     Case mailed from California to NVC

06/02/2017:     Case Number Received (I called) from NVC

06/09/2017:     Case Status: Ready in Guayaquil, Ecuador

My fiance does have her travel visa, but we chose to go the route of the fiance visa to make sure we did everything by the book.  We received our NOA1 on 2/13/17, but this is taking much longer than we thought.  I know everyone else is in the same boat.  Does anyone know if it would be a bad idea for her to come visit for a week on her travel visa while her fiance visa application is in process?  Could that damage our chances of having it approved?

I had the same question and stumbled upon this post:

Since it appears that visiting won't affect having the visa approved, my fiancé came to visit me in Feb. of this year after we received the NOA1.  He didn't have any problems with immigration when he entered :-)

hi Feb filers.

i have been looking on December and January filers page, and it seems like they are flying through those months. approving hundreds of December filers a day, with double figures of January filers a day. hopefully May will bring us more speedy results once they get those other two months out of the way. i read on one post in the January filers that they have 1365 cases still untouched. but if they are flying through these then that number should decrease and hopefully they will move onto more February filers next. keeping fingers crossed for all of us.

:)
